Kaibab Lake Campground reviews
17Good place. Had a lot of fun. The grounds keepers are a little much. Get off the pavement to level your vehicle and get yelled at.go in the gravel with a handicap plate at the main pavion group spot to remove some firewood and get yelled at because you're on the gravel. It was a bit much, but other than that, it was a good place. It's a campground, no rooms.
Great Campground! Large paved spots, not too near other campers. The hosts are very nice and do a great job keeping the grounds and restrooms clean. No electric or sewer but there are trash cans and water spickets around the park with drinking water. Single sites are $28 and doubles are $40. The Kaibab Lake is pretty with beautiful wild flowers surrounding it and there are a lot of trails around it. Great place to stay to go shop and eat in Williams, or to go to the Grand Canyon.
Great campground wish we could have stayed another night but are vacation was over next time I'll be fishing on are next visit
This is a super nice Forest Service campground located not to far from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We tried to get into this Park last Spring but they hadn’t even opened for the season when we arrived. We’re super glad we were able to loop back around and visit again this summer. The Camp Host does a good job managing the Park and was super friendly. We’ll be back again!
We spontaneously booked this campsite because we did the train tour from Williams to grand canyon. It was our first camping weekend with our new camper. The toilets were very clean and it didn't smell. The campsite was very clean and well located for us. Each campsite had a seat and a fire pit. If you like hiking, you can hike around the lake and enjoy the scenery from the other side.
Love this campground. Quiet, mountain area. No Internet, no TV, limited cell service. We go at least once a year.
Plenty of space and the staff was super
friendly. Mayby a bit spartan for tent campers but in an RV, great place.
We've camped here many times but I may say the mosquitoes are running us out. Even off doesn't hold them at bay. I must have 50 bites. Can't even sit outside. Also all the restrooms, although cleaned stink to high heaven. This was not a pleasant trip
This is a hidden gem. Right outside Williams, a great place to rest, fish, or get an early start into the Grand Canyon. Pretty quiet, although you could here trains in the distance. The park was pristine, and even the outhouses were clean and not smelly. But, there were no flush toilets, so I can’t give it the 5 stars it otherwise deserves.
Had a great time clean restrooms n campground the host were awesome definitely coming back.
Beautiful campground. Not extremely close together, you get your own space. Very well maintained.
Nice campground. Site #63 is great for morning solar and afternoon shade. Starlink has good view to the north. Pit toilets are super clean. Super close to Williams AZ and the Grand Canyon south Rim. $14 night with Interagency Access pass. Middle or July temperatures are 85-90 day 60 night
Rooms and service is low only because it's a camp ground no room but it's an easy campground area to get to and pretty fun to fish at
Bathrooms were clean, host was very nice. We will be returning! We camped in spot 67 away from the lake which was great because we had two small children with us and there were two restrooms locations very close to us. You could hear some road noise but all the campers were very quiet and it made it a very peaceful stay.
Great place to camp out with TV or tent. Very clean location and a lot of hotspots for fishing. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
Nice campground Welcoming and accommodating hosts in each section. We stayed 4 days in Loop B site 24 is nice and is near the lake. When we decided to stay in the area four more days we had to move sites. Site 65 Loop E is nice, more secluded in the woods up on the hill. They have a boat ramp and fishing pier
