We couldn't be more happy with our experience at KDI studio. Kristen is a very gifted photographer and makes the experience special, comfortable, and unique. Her calm demeanor makes it especially wonderful for family shoots with small children. My kids just loved her and she made it such a fun experience for them. I would highly recommend KDI if you are looking for a professional, caring, high quality experience that really focuses on attention to detail.

If you are in the market for a family photographer in Flagstaff, Kristen Iwai is the best in town. We have turned to KDI Photography both for our family photos when our son was first born and again with our children getting older (too fast!). This past October, we did a shoot with Kristen out at Hart Prairie and she was on time, super personable, made our two children appear as if they actually liked each other and turned our afternoon into a fun bonding experience. It never felt like a burden or chore, and our kids talked about how much they liked the memory of us doing it (which was pretty surprising). Kristen even worked with our enthusiastic dogs, kept a nice pace, and finished in a timely way. What is even better is the result. The photography was outstanding. We were awestruck by the quality of the photos, which all turned into Christmas presents for family. KDI Photography delivered everything on time, beautifully wrapped and prepared and everything was flawless. One note to consider is that KDI has a distinct palette and style that is worth checking out before you work with Kristen to make sure its a match for you. We loved the warmer tones, natural poses, and framing choices she made (it was hard to pick them out-a great problem to have!). Overall, incredible photography now adorns our living room and the homes of our families and we could not be happier.

KDI has been creating art featuring my family for 15 years. Kristen has an amazing talent for bringing out people's personality in a picture. BEST photographer in all of Arizona. I have had the pleasure of working with Kristen both for professional photos, small business photos, wedding photos, Christmas Cards and family photos. Her skill as a photographer is amazing, but having the skills and knowing how to use light can be achieved by many. The thing that sets Kristen apart is that she knows how to pull out that special moment, that twinkle in the eye, that "shy in front of the camera" family members personality.
