I was really troubled by the care - or lack of care - I received. Here is the issue with filing a complaint with the state licensing board: patients aren't taken seriously. Other doctors are a little bit if they complain, but if hospitals put in a complaint, they are the money makers. However, I never made it into a hospital setting, thank goodness. So here is the deal: I went to Dr. Favata at the end of December 2021 and she diagnosed me with a few conditions that were expected. She set me up with medical equipment that was expected. All of the subsequent appointments I had, I never saw her face. I had ultrasounds, I had fittings for the equipment.never saw her. Everything was relayed through her staff. Then her medical assistant came into the room one time and told me that according to one of the scans, I desperately needed vein ablation. Unfortunately, she also told me that the doctor was leaving within a week, so I had to decide within 2 days if I was going to do this ablation that was going to save my legs. This whole discussion was with a medical assistant, not the doctor. I happen to be a rare disease patient, meaning my rare diseases outnumber my regular diseases, and I had no idea what going through ablations would do to me or how I would manage everything else. I said no way. I changed my care to a different office. I also asked for my medical records to be transferred to that office and signed a release, but she never responded to that request, as she hasn't for any former patients. Under the care of the new provider, I had ultrasounds done of my legs and they could see a 1/2 inch section of my left leg was a problem - and I can actually see that spot near the surface, I don't even need imaging done. So what would have happened if I would have had vein ablations simply out of fear and panic?

Dr. Favata is an excellent specialist in her field and was easy to talk to about my Vein disease. She personally had to make sure a vendor delivered my surgical products in time for a procedure.
I appreciated her making sure that I could get my multiple procedures done in a timely manner d/t the clinic closing at this location. The staff is awesome!
I look forward to a follow-up at her new clinic opening at the end of summer.

The front office staff wasn't very friendly. Non of the staff there were very friendly. No one said hi, no one greeted you. Not an inviting environment, at all. The doctor did not want to hear nothing I had to say. He was the one who was right on everything. Took one look at me and had a preconceived diagnosis. I know my health problems, I know what's wrong with me.but he didn't want to hear it. Won't be going back.

I wish all medical procedures were as effective as this. Dr. Favata is as good as it gets. Excellent staff and good office PR.

When I first came to see her my legs hurt I could not run anything thing I did my legs hurt I am down 42 pounds and I can run she has changed my life I’m so happy

I did a lot of research prior to coming to Dr. Favata for hereditary lipedema and chronic venous insufficiency. I was hesitant and self conscious to come due to a long-standing self confidence issue with my legs. After reading so many favorable recommendations in a Facebook group for lipedema, I decided to have a consult. Dr. Favata clearly explained what she was seeing and confirmed my suspected diagnosis. She talked to me about treatment options and was only supportive; never judgmental when I explained I was hoping for medical and cosmetic results. After 4 laser procedures my legs are smaller and feel amazing. I can see my knees! In addition to the great results she has a very kind, reassuring bedside manner and will not rush you no matter how silly the question. I highly recommend her and her sweet staff.

Dr Favata was really nice but her surgical ‘skills’ ruined my life! My legs are 10 times worse then they were when I went there. I followed all directions and trusted this Dr. I went to all follow appointments. I was told that ALL 4 veins reopened and would need to be redone! All of them! By my last visit I was told to go elsewhere if I wasn’t happy with the results. I went to another doctor’s office who ‘fixes’ her patients ‘all the time’. I have decided to just suffer with the pain as I don’t trust any doctors! I wish I never met this doctor.

Dr. Favata was very professional and helpful at the visits. However 5 years later I’m still suffering from a botched surgery! If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t. My veins reopened and are more painful then they were before in fact they never improved but they are worse now for sure. She’s nice I’ll give her that but my surgeries (4) did not help at all

As a RN of over 40 years I have many years of experience of contact with physicians. I am writing to say Dr. Kelli Favata is outstanding. In all of my years in medicine I have never met a more thorough and compassionate physician. I have had 4 in-office surgeries, 3 EVLT and 1 Varithena, since January 2020. Dr. Favata explained the entire plan during my initial visit and explained why each recommended procedure needed to be done. During each in office surgery Dr. Favata told me every single thing she was going to do, before doing it. This put my mind at ease that she is truly an expert at what she is doing but also that she cares about her patient. Following each surgery she made sure I had her cell phone number and complete post-op instructions to contact her anytime day or night with any question or concern. I had on one occasion the need to contact her via text and she answered immediately.
I have Lipoedema and lymphedema and my legs had become a severe issue with pain, heaviness, swelling, and continual aching. Since having the surgeries Dr. Favata recommended, my symptoms have been been relieved almost 100%. A truly amazing feat as I thought it was just something I was going to have to live with after spending a career on my feet for 40 years. To top it off the surgery site needed no stitches and I’m unable to tell where any of the incisions were made.
It’s easily understood that Dr. Favata carefully chooses her staff. Her entire staff is caring and they follow through on any issue I ever called about.
I live in Northern Arizona but I make the 4 hour round trip to see Dr. Favata because she is simply that good.
I am extremely lucky to have found her and I can not recommend her skills and compassion highly enough. She is a rarity in medicine these days. Anyone lucky enough to become her patient will understand this statement after just one visit with her.

Dr. Favata is a good physician. She performed each step of the procedures with confidence and skill along with her assistants putting me at ease. I felt as if I would be better after seeing her. Indeed I have felt better. Even the appearance of my legs have improved. With gratitude, I thank her for serving the financially disadvantaged, of which I am one. Yes, I have been telling others about her services.
