Kingman Visitor Center reviews
12There's a display of a red sleek electric car outside. It looked worse for wear. Too bad it is not cared for. We didn't pay to go into museum. There was a free display about a book which was very interesting. Buy you souvenir from the store to the right as you enter. Avoid the gift shop to the left which has overpriced items compared to the other, unless you want a branding iron for your steak.
I felt like I was friends with everyone working here. They were the nicest people! The museum is fun! The nostalgic displays are interesting and humorous. The electric car room is a must see.
Very friendly, masks required but they will help you plan some of your vacation on the great Route 66!
Quaint little stop off during our tour to the Grand Canyon. Town is picturesque, everyone was friendly and pleasant. Would have loved to have more time wandering around the Visitor Center and surrounding area.
Place to stop and use rest room
Has a small gift shop with lots of RT66 items. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
We enjoyed the Route 66 museum very much. A lot of history in one place. You pay a 4 dollar fee. This also gives you entrance to the Mohave museum wich is also very interesting.
This was a nice visitor center. Clean restrooms, brochures, and tour around. Pick up a souvenir or two also.
Nice place to stop for a few minutes. Clean restrooms and a couple of gift shops. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Nice pit stop on history Route 66. Definitely would recommend stopping. Lots of informative flyers. Museum on the top floor ($). Clean facilities and restrooms.
Cool and unique visitor center for Kingman located in a historic building in Downtown Kingman. You can find info and directions for all sorts of things in the area, browse the historical information presented here, and shop for different gift items. Nestled between the railroad tracks and the train park, it's perfect for anyone interested in trains.
Interesting stop on the way to anywhere passing through Kingman. Located on historic route 66 they have clean restrooms, photo opportunities, friendly staff, and plenty of souvenir shopping of local goods.
