Kiwanis Playground reviews
14 We've been there many times. Ramadas may need to be reserved as much three months ahead of time. Parking can be an issue. There used to be geese that were a real hoot. Fishing is a bit sketchy!
I used to go up there to roast my own coffee which is not a engaging smell!
Kids play structures are in good shape
Big and fun kids playground. Could be a little more user friendly for smaller kids and some gross graffiti they need to clean up faster. Awesome slides and some creative play things.
Nice and clean playground and picnic? Spot for family. Different kinds of kids activities, swings and small rides. Nearby lake is also very beautiful. Perfect picnic spot on weekends. Washrooms are clean and easily accessible. You can spend 1 full day here. Good spot to celebrate birthdays and other occasions.
No park in the greater Phoenix area is better. The park has multiple restrooms, more than enough parking, very clean, well managed, big, diverse, attractive, plenty of shade and multiple drinking fountains. With the size and choices you can make a bunch of visits that include the playgrounds and something else.
My husband took our 21 month old granddaughter there and said there was no play equipment for kids her age. Also said you have to walk quite a ways to get to playground from parking lot.
Great park! Families everywhere engaging with their kids. Lots of things to do for every age up to 12. Lit at night too!
So much to do, it can be a little overwhelming at first. But definitely a favorite for our little family.
Great place for bbq's, room for young children and youths alike. Basketball court, playground area have safety grounds. My issues are that a few parents let young ones out of their sight. This wasn't my first time there and every time there at least one child can't find parents.
Its giant! I discovered a basketball court and a tiny ZIPLINE here today, what public family park has a zipline? ! KIWANIS that's who! Love coming here, seriously.
Great toys for children if all ages. Benches for parents. Shady trees to sit under on the grass.
It's November and the play ground is closed. Coronavirus. Good thing Encanto park in Phoenix is open. The enchanted island is open as well. Don't deprive the kid's by keeping them locked up at home. Proven fact is this. You have a 98% survival of coronavirus. 98% of recovery. Keep yourself medicated and your children as well. Mucinex multi symptom is the best.
They upgraded the kids area, very nice. Maybe that is why the lake has trash, can we the people please pick up our trash, let's try and clean it up, it's a very nice park.
Such a great play ground honestly. I can't wait until it coolsz down in the fall to take the family again.
Has a basketball court for the older kids and several different playgrounds for the younger kids. From infant and all ages areas for different ages and stages
