Dr. Heiland has been my doctor for 20 years when i was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in neck area. His aggressive treatment of my cancer is main reason I am still alive. I almost canceled my appointment yesterday due to the reviews.that would have been a huge mistake. I found Dr Heiland to be very personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and just a downright good guy. I can't remember ever feeling so comfortable with a Dr before.the previous negative reviews are complete junk in my opinion. I have nothing negative to say about him.our interaction yesterday was 100% positive.

He saved my life. I had a growth on my neck that I didn’t know was a tumor. Just thought it was a swollen glad that never went down. It started rapidly growing out of no where, and within a couple months it has tripled in size. I was referred to Dr Heiland. He assessed me and ordered surgery for that Saturday because how fast it was growing and it was putting pressure on my artery to my brain. Surgery went perfect and the tumor was removed. He saved my life. Thank you to him and his whole staff. They were all so nice and caring.

Communications are so negative with this physicians office. This doctor refused to get onto the phone when inquiring about instructions for a patient. They refused to send information to the patient's primary care physician or any changes to orders. Then they explained that it to much of a bother to see Veterans that go to the VA. I would not recommend this physician for anyone especially VETERANS!

The staff is always polite, kind, and professional. I’m grateful to be under Dr. Heiland’s care.

Dr. Heiland did my kiddo’s adenoid and tonsil removal when he was only 4. He was amazing and made sure that my husband and I felt at ease. My kiddo is almost 7 and we still see him when any issues arise. We love Dr. Heiland, he is always very thorough and takes his time.

Extremely upsetting FIRST.and last appointment with Dr. Heiland. I will not subject myself to further condescension and abuse.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents. My mother went to see this doctor for balance issues that she believes were related to her hearing. Two weeks ago she had a 90 minute “balance test”. Yesterday she went in for her test results. Her appointment was at 1 o’clock so my father and her arrived at 12: 35. The doctors were late and the MA put them in a room at 1: 15. The doctor did not come in until exactly 2 o’clock (one hour past the appointment time) and spent exactly 3 minutes with them! He came across as rude, condescending, and arrogant. He also would not answer any of moms questions. When my parents get the bill they will immediately look and see if he listed their appointment as a 15 minute or 30 minute bill for this appointment. My guess is that he will have charged their insurance for a 30 minute appointment even though it was much much less than even a 15 minute one. I strongly advise against any patient needing an ear nose and throat doctor from considering Dr. Heiland to provide their care. There are many others out there that might do much better job.

I went to Dr Heiland about my plugged ear. He looked at it and said it wasn't plugged. He then asked if I have tinnitus which I do. He had me get an MRI which showed nothing. He also told me I should wear different shoes for walking and I should stay out of the sun because he saw my freckles on my arm. That was it. No suggestions or followup as to what to do for my plugged ear which I still have a couple of months later.

Ok, it was difficult to get information on things after my surgery, and I NEVER did get it!

Still getting monthly bill despite the fact he was paid at 100% a year ago. Shady business, horrible "doctor", condescending, horrible character. His office will not call me or my insurance company back.

The doctors and staff seemed fairly knowledgeable. They have great equipment and a very clean facility. However, I was disappointed when they acted like they were doing me a favor by getting me a book related to my visit. They then charged me 4x what the book cost on Amazon. I never went back. There is no need to take advantage of your patients like that in my opinion. Healthcare costs are high enough.

My Dr needed some records from a previous visit. I called and they found and forwarded the results to the other Dr. It was a smooth process. I'll go there again.

My exam was very thorough. Physician Assistant and Dr Heiland were very professional, caring and personable. Excellent experience! Highly recommended!

I have been a patient for many years under Dr. Heiland and his staff. I have always received excellent care through all phases of my treatment. Very thorough and courteous.

Dr Heiland talked down to me the whole time we ‘consulted’. The office staff were all professional, courteous, and efficient, but Dr Heiland Needs to show more respect for the patient and take the concerns of the patient seriously. He was not helpful, courteous, nor professional in my opinion. He’s not that good. My first thought as I walked out of the office was ‘I will NEVER return to see Dr Heiland again. ’ It was a complete waste of my time. I will look else where for a Doctor Who can address my concerns.

Dr Heiland is the most amazing caring Dr I've honestly had the privilege to meet. He saves my life I had stage 4 cancer and he took amazing care of me every step of the way. I'm now 19 years cancer free Thanks to him. I highly recommend Dr Heiland you'll be in good hands.
