Very clean location, cool artificial grass in the center. Staff nice. The stationary bike TV, some weren’t working but not a big deal.

Been to 4 La Fitness (Esparta) in Phoenix
Laveen 51st Ave, #2 Biltmore, #3West Lower Buckeye, #4 Baseline Rd and 16th st.
In that order they are the best.
Laveen on 51st Ave takes the cake thus far! Always room for improvement however holding down the number #1 spot!

Majority of people are not wearing masks. The bar that holds the weight plate is broken (potential safety hazard) leather seats are ripped, sauna room is too small and doesn't work properly, barely heats up and knob is stripped. Bathroom cleaninliness is subpar and there are no touchless faucets. Disinfectant spray bottles are scarce and almost empty. Front desk clerk, no greeting and with attitude. In fact, this has been the history for this location in Laveen. It's extremely small, poor development for a community this size. Minorities enjoy working out and families would like to sit together in the saunas as others do at your other locations. Please fix this location.

Great club to work out at. The staff is extremely helpful. A wide variety of machines along with dance room racquetball courts and basketball court. The pool is amazing and right now there's not many people using it so it's even better. I've been going there two or three days a week now. Nice place to escape the Summer sun and do something for your body at the same time.

Love the morning people! The gym is a mess every morning, nothing is put away from the night before. They have great morning staff who clean as well but the night staff should be fired!

No paper towels or soap. Bathroom was a mess. I have never seen the gym this way. Very unhygienic and definitely not following CDC guidelines.

The gym is nice. The experience with setting up a personal trainer was disappointing. Lots of lying by omission. $140/ hour for random trainers, unprepared lessons, and staff losing your training booklet. Very unprofessional and slimy/shady for so much money.

Filthy and unkempt the staff do not clean this place. Massive clumps of hair, used razors, and dirty underwear left in the shower area. Pool walls are lined with crusted-over dead skin cells and management does nothing about it. The machines do not get wiped down and are disgusting!

There are better options in our area. I went to the LA fitness for several years. Recently, they didn't honor a commitment when I attempted to restart (post COVID), so I went elsewhere. I'm glad I didn't spend another decade at LA fitness. Their gym is subpar relative to other gyms in the area.

Do a little research. It's better to go to a gym a few extra minutes away than to spend years at a mediocre gym.

This place is great. The trainer is awesome. The gym is fairly clean but I wish there were more cleaning stations for the machines. They are missing a few of the ab machines I like but aside from that it's great.

I am a 21 years military veteran with a few disabilities. It’s imperative that I stay active so I decided to get membership at the local L. A. Fitness near my residence. I called the L. A. Fitness located on 5175 West Baseline Rd, Laveen AZ, 85339. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and no one answered. I hung up and called back and was finally passed through to a membership salesperson named Cassandra. She told me about their membership rate of $21 monthly membership with access for one family member for all in state locations. According to L. A. Fitness this was their best offer since they don’t offer ANYTHING for active or retired military members. Later that same day, I went into that L. A. Fitness on May 5,2021 and personally spoke with a salesperson I talked to earlier on the phone. I asked some more detailed questions to see if this was the best option for me and also got a tour of the facility. Cassandra and her manager REASSURED ME that the rate they quoted me would be the lifetime rate, would not go up, and I would only have to pay a reduced initiation fee, first & last months membership fee. I told Cassandra and I would go over the membership details with my wife and left to call her. After making an informed decision, I went back inside and agreed to the membership terms, Cassandra and her team wrote the lifetime rates down on their Membership Terms paperwork and all I had to do was make the payment. I told Cassandra I would have to run home to get payment, and she assured me she was going to be at work until 6pm that day. I rushed home and came back with my payment ready and Cassandra was nowhere to be found. She left work early. A co-worker of Cassandra’s came over to me, told me Cassandra was gone home, AND accosted me for payment. I asked him to give me some space and to stop being so aggressive with his approach. I was dealing with Cassandra so she is who I wanted to complete the transaction with. He was still being aggressive and refused to give me his name. I went over to speak with the Operations Manager, Mercy, who was professional, knowledgable, and assisted me with gathering some needed information. As I was speaking with Mercy, the rude membership salesperson, who refused to give me his name, called the Sales General Manager Joshua over and was bad mouthing me for not talking to him personally. Joshua looked at me, kind of giggled, shrugged his shoulder, and they both walked off. The behavior of these two were totally UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND THE WORST I’ve encountered in my 21 years of military service. I was totally embarrassed, felt somewhat threatened by the unknown salesman. As a General Sales Manager, Joshua profusely failed at his duties.

Later that weekend I called to speak with Cassandra. She never apologized for lying and leaving work when she said she was going to be available to complete the membership sign up. Cassandra also told me the rate her and her Manager promised me was no longer available. She said it was only a promotion for that day. I told her I came back that same day and she was gone. She said nothing could be done and they were not able to honor their word and the membership price they quoted me. Later that weekend on Mother’s Day Cassandra called me and re-stated that they cannot and will not honor their quoted price. I spoke to some other friends and veterans about their dealing with this particular L. A. Fitness and they also shared some horror stories they endured. Many talked about being overcharged, money falsely debited, and the rudeness of the salesperson staff amongst others. This establishment not only has the worst customer service but also some bad and illegal business practices. Shame on General Sales Manager Joshua and his rude staff for preying on the innocent people of the community and hard working Veterans.

This gym is so untidy. They got dumbells stacked on top of others. They got 50 lbs in the 10 lb area and half the weights on the rack is in lala land. Thing that comes to my mind is do they even clean this place up before leaving. And I pretty much work out in the morning when they open. By my work, is waaaaay better than this one.

80 to start and 2 months later jacked me for 90. If I'd have known that I would have went back to planet fitness. So basically $200 in 2 months whereas planet fitness is 10 or 20 and no fees
