Cleanest gym in Tucson just wish there was more lifting equipment. There are rows of cardio but only a little section dedicated to lifting

Went in today to shoot basketball but noticed three basketball were ripped at the seams and in bad shape. I took the ball to the front desk to ask for a better one. The answer was ferocious no we do not have a better ball nor are we going to order any. The manager comes and says "you need to bring your own ball". I stated, "this is unacceptable and maybe I should cancel my membership. Left the ball at the front desk and walked away to lift weight. A staff member chases me me down and says I violated gym rules and says I'm trespassing and my membership will be canceled. Horrible management and staff, disgusting housekeeping, spit on floor near machines, dust and leave at front entrance, staff member on phone talking to his friend while customers are waiting. Avoid this location unless you have no standards.

Very helpful staff and the facility seemed pretty clean. We'd like to go between 230 and 4 PM and there is always room on every machine and wait machine and free weights We also like the child care and so do our children. They always ask us to work out longer L o l

Mediocre gym. It's basically planet fitness with a few barbells. The equipment is old and worn. Staff are clueless salesmen. Super over priced day passes at $20.

This gym is super convenient and people there are pretty chill. They have a major problem with maintenance and ventilation though. On our last humid day we could t finish our workout because the air was so thick it was gross. I recently got sick with Covid after working out there too, which is sus because I literally don’t go anywhere lol. They really need to get their AC replaced and some fan/filters going because the air is just nasty.

The one on Ina: Whoever is mopping the women’s locker room is using a smelly mop. It smelled awful in there after being mopped. Aren’t you disinfecting the mops? Or are you letting the mops sit in dirty water? You need to get new mops. It smelled so bad after being mopped I cannot fathom taking a shower there. Ewe!

Pretty busy place, a clean friendly place. Zero judgment gym. Many options in workout machines also have personal trainer areas for non-weight workouts. Many free classes included membership.racket ball courts, boxing court, yoga court, cycling workout room, basketball, indoor pool, big locker rooms with shower, and amazing sauna room. Also has child daycare while you work out if you need it.

There are so many different machines even when it's busy you can still get a good workout. Clean, pool, sauna, kids center, friendly trainers

Lots of equipment but good luck using it all from 4-7 without a wait. Not the gyms fault, just an observation. If you go off peak hours you can get a good workout in as they have everything you need.

Great classes, lots of good workout equipment, childcare available, large pool area, lots of shower space, racquetball and basketball courts.

Staff is nice. Pool had bandaids in it, equipment was kinda gross, jacuzzi foamy. Got ringworm and athletes foot. Never had those before, lesson learned.won't be back.

LA fitness has the most corrupt cancelation policy. I found a new gym, but would have given 5 stars for my experience to this point. BUT. They have a cancelation policy that requires mailing in a document or going to the club in person to cancel. Imagine if you had to go to a physical location to cancel a netflix subscription. It would literally be a federal crime. Save yourself the hassle when you cancel 1-3 years out, and find a gym that isn't trying to strong arm you into not being able to cancel.

I’ve been going to this facility many years now. I recently had my first child and he’s now 9 months. They’ve gone through 4 different kids club people who watch the children. Today I was grabbed off the floor due to my child vomiting, he’s teething so I wasn’t too shocked. I get to the room and there was one pile of puke, then she proceeded to tell me that it was the second puke. I pick up my kid to wipe him off, he had two bandaid wrappers in his mouth. He was choking on these pieces of paper. There were kids 9 years old and plus playing on devices, my child was the only baby in that room. NOT A SINGLE TODDLER EITHER. They literally only had to watch my baby! I will be canceling my membership and proceeding legally. Oh let’s not forget that not one camera works in the facility!

The gym itself is good. Good equipment and facilities. It’s the management at this location that make it horrible. Larry never returns calls and is impossible to get in touch with, even when he’s supposedly at the gym staff “can’t seem to find him”, the manager was a complete douche when confronted about payments, we’re pretty sure they altered our gym contracts when they switched back from esporta cause the signatures on my wife’s contract are not hers. These people a shady. Go to another gym.

Family plan is affordable and only $5 per child for kid watch per month. Facilities are clean. We don’t utilize much of what the gym has to offer, but it all appears to be well run and kept up.

LA Fitness has always been hit or miss depending on the location. But a gym with a pool makes it worth the membership and all their extra fees. The cardio equipment at this location is at least 10 years old, more than likely 15-20 years old with half not properly balanced or maintain. This is one of the smaller LAs so the limited machines are mediocre at best. Free weights are the only reason it deserves the one star it has. That pool I mentioned earlier that makes it worth the extra money, well it’s “indefinitely” out of order but “you can go to a different location”. Funny, the pool is running, not drained, and no visible work is being done. Tucson is already a joke when it comes to gyms, but you may as well go to the Y for price to amenities comparison.
