La Mesa RV Center Tucson

We purchased our 2nd RV from La Mesa RV in tucson and it was an easy and amazing experience.
After purchasing one unit from “Toms Camperland” which was a horrible experience (RV is broken and after 6months still haven’t fixed, super unprofessional and poorly managed) we were looking for a better dealer and La Mesa RV nailed it. When we had small issues they were quick to help us to get them fixed, everyone was accommodating and professional. Special thanks to Ray, Chris and Carlos for taking care of us each time. We will def be back!

Ryan Robold was an outstanding service representative. Although we are a customer of the Mesa facility, Ryan treated us like family and fixed our propane problem promptly and with a smile. Outstanding experience. Thank you, Ryan

During a recent trip (10-22) from NorCal to Tucson the refrigerator stopped functioning upon our arrival after closing hours. NOTE: We purchased our RV from La Mesa - San Diego and have same serviced at La Mesa - Davis, CA.

The next morning I contacted La Mesa - Tucson and requested a mobile repair person. I was informed that they would be there by 1: 00P.

Sure enough shortly before the allotted time Luis arrived and introduced himself.

Luis found and diagnosed the issue (loss of refrigerant) meaning a new refrigerator was required.

Luis was extremely knowledgable, professional, polite, and personable.

He is a TREMENDOUS ASSET to your company and should be recognized for his superior job performance.

II just picked up my new Entegra motorhome at La Mesa in Tucson. The unit had been set up for delivery, cleaned and opened up ready for our orientation and delivery. The couple of minor items which needed attention were corrected quickly while we were doing the title work. Esteban was our orientation leader. He was extremely knowledgeable and walked us thru all of the coach systems. He took his time and would go back to things I did not understand the first time. He could answer all of our questions in terms we understood. Esteban and La Mesa were great, and I would recommend them when looking to purchase a motorhome.

Having had a very poor experience with La Mesa in Davis, CA several years ago, I was committed to not using La Mesa again when I decided to purchase another motor home. Now that I am in the Tucson area, where La Mesa is one of the bigger RV dealerships, I decided to give the company another shot. I was very pleasantly surprised with the no pressure sales approach of Leslie St. Martin, her consideration for my needs (which appropriately directed me to a less expensive RV than the unit I was originally considering because it was more suited to my needs, and her follow through during the lead up to the sale, and her continued immediate responsiveness to my questions/concerns post-sale. I didn't drive a hard bargain, however I do feel that I was treated fairly and respectfully-again not what I expected based on my previous experience with La Mesa. I was happily surprised at how comfortable this RV purchase experience went.

The finance and delivery experiences were also handled professionally and respectfully, and I drove away with a slightly used Thor Motor Coach Chateau which has everything I was looking for, and 10 days later seems to be working fine in every way that I can determine so far.

So, fingers crossed that all continues to go well with this big purchase. I do want to commend Leslie St. Martin for making this a good experience where I felt like I mattered to her and the company, and also acknowledge to this La Mesa dealership that their delivery and service tech staff have all been professional, friendly, and responsive.

As of the time of writing this review, a real 5 star experience.

Sales Department Ray is great, he doesn't just try to sell, he actually listens to what your needs are and what you can afford.

If only we could give a negative 5 star review, but we are stuck with a 1 star as the lowest mark. We swore to not give Tucson’s La Mesa service center another chance after their extremely poor customer service and lack of competence with repairing warranty issues with the last RV we purchased from them in 2017.

They have since brought in a new service manager (Ryan) and some new techs. Because the La Mesa in Phx is now dealing with questionable techs and customer service providers and have limited parts in stock, we were convinced to give Tucson another chance. We were told that Ryan is much better than Dave, the last manager.

Unfortunately, the incompetence and lack of concern for repairing RV problems still exists. Ryan is definitely not into making customer service and ethical repairs his priority.

This lack of concern for the clients seems to be statewide in Arizona. When at the La Mesa service center in Mesa, we had to listen to a customer scream at the techs and manager for damage they caused to his RV. The Phx service center struggles to repair simple issues such as a loose wire connecting the radio, and oven that won’t heat up, or the generator that won’t stay on, etc. Don’t get me started on how they installed our solar wrong and tried to blame me for it not working. They installed the wrong inverter/control panel! How is that my fault?

Tucson can’t seem to fix a generator that is not getting gas… but as Ryan clearly said this isn’t his problem. He could care less that we have brought the RV in to La Mesa at least 4 times to have the generator issue resolved.and it is under warranty (2022 RV)

It isn’t his family who has to ride in a hot RV on a 107 degree day with no AC because La Mesa techs and managers refuse to even attempt to fix this simple issue, right?

You have options. Buy your RV where you know they will take pride in helping you care for it. La Mesa is not that place, unfortunately.

Everyone at La Mesa-was awesome. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful! Our Salesman, Tom was very knowledgeable in the product he was selling. It was a pleasure working with him. We got a beautiful “new-to-us” bus!

Stopped by today not sure what we were looking for. Wanting to transition to tiny house/RV living. Worked with John Hartley to narrow things down. He was super helpful, fantastic knowledge of their inventory. Killer customer service.

Our salesman, Terry Oresman, is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Whenever an issue came up he was more than willing to help us, either himself or by getting help for us. He even went above and beyond to help us out in an unusual situation. We are so grateful!
Also, Jeremy, in delivery tech was patient and thorough in getting our truck and trailer set up with braking system and stabilizer package. He was great and took all the time needed to see everything through to completion! Again, our situation seemed to cause several unexpected issues that he resolved. Thank you both!

La Mesa RV is a delightful place to shop for an RV or as a resource for camping information.
The orientation for our Class C motorhome was thorough and informative.
Would definitely recommend.

I recently brought my Tiffin Wayfair in for service at LaMesa RV Tucson my service advisor was Julio he was very knowledgeable about the RV and communicated to me exactly how long it would take and have the rig ready to go when I came to pick it up Julio will be upfront and honest with you all the time it will take and how much it will cost and how long it takes to get parts I feel he is a good asset to LaMesa RV

Jerry and the team at La Mesa RV were amazing in helping us find the right new RV at the best price. Looking forward to getting out with our new rig!

I just want to say no matter how much time it takes us to make a decision Jerry always makes the time for us. This is our second rig purchased from Jerry because he has the knowledge patience and care for our needs. We love the way Jerry goes the extra mile every time we visit the sales lot and thru-out the purchase and delivery process. Jerry is just a top notch sales person and we highly recommend him if you are in the market for a new motor home or RV.

BEWARE! After bringing our Rv to La Mesa for warranty work, picked up and wasn’t fixed. After many many phone calls and another trip to drop off, La Mesa claimed it was a new issue. Never fixed in the first place. Service manager and customer relations were no help and lied about the issue. This company was paid under warranty and didn’t fix the issue. Next stop- report them to RV manufacturers to let them know they are committing fraud!
