La Pupusa Loca reviews
7We just ordered to take home, the order was not given as requested and apart from the shrimp papusa, it had shrimp of the kind that instant soups have (maruchan) horrible experience.
I went with my husband and the girl who was taking my order kept flirting with my husband my husband felt uncomfortable because the girl looks like a baby Melanie was the worker name get better employee’s please when my husband talked to the worker asking her what they had on the menu she was flirting and smiling and trying to touch his hand when I asked her to see the menu she had a attitude with me never have I ever experienced something like this it was very uncomfortable for us get better employees please
I stopped in on my way to work. This would have been around 4pm. The place was empty but I wanted to try them out. I've had pupusas that were just okay at other locations. This place had some pretty good pupusas. I ordered 3 revueltas and waited about 10 to 15 minutes. This is typical waiting time, so all in all, no complaints. I can only speak to the revueltas, as I had no other dish. The curtido and salsa were also of a good taste.
The inside looks more like a sports bar. I ordered and the wait time to receive my food was around 30 minutes. I went here to try the plato loco, had high expectations based on the reviews of this place, to start the prices are not accurate, took time for my food to be out and the food order was not the same as described on the menu. When I get home I see everything is there except tortillas, fried beans and only 2 chorizos instead of 4 and a lot of small pieces of meat which that wasn't on the description on the menu. Everything was too greasy and almost burnt, the only thing that was okay were the pupusas. Not worth my 20 minute drive there. As I mentioned on the prices, they're not accurate, so I paid according to the receipt for $28, days after I find out they actually charged me more on my card
Lady spraying herself with perfume near the food for pickup and some of the pupusas had no cheese. Disappointing!
I dont recommend this place to anyone.first of all the atmosphere looks like a mobsters hangout.the food was nasty and not worth paying for.the horchata tasted like espresso. Restrooms are open to the homeless.pupusas were awful.i traveled from Harcajilla big mistake.if ur ever traveling west around 339 th ave Van buren theres a food truck that sells pupusas.the best I highly recommend.
