LaBruzza's Italian Ristorante reviews
18Really lovely cozy atmosphere. This was our first visit with friends that frequent La Bruzza's and we were very satisfied. There was a wait before entering and according to everyone we heard from that is typical. We waited an hour to be seated but it was a Friday evening, so absolutely understandable. Food was exceptional, fresh and well worth the price. I ordered shrimp primavera and husband ordered creamy Tuscan seafood. You can bring your own wine. Parking is limited, so I was glad we took one vehicle in with our group. My husband and I are looking forward to returning in the near future for a date night.
First time here, fantastic food and service!
Best Italian food in Prescott hands down, probably in Arizona too.
BYOB is fun, bring your own wine and enjoy.
It's not a place you go for the atmosphere but the food is pretty good and the portions are a good size for the average American. You can BYOB which is nice. I'm always starving with a good buzz rolling by the time the food gets to the table so I don't think it's possible for anything to taste bad.
A very quaint Italian place serving up excellent food. When you are seated, there is fresh Italian bread and salad already on the table. Our waitress made the meal extremely special, but she's only there Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our food was delicious. And there's so much of it that it's easy to share. There is a charge for plate sharing, but when you see how much food you get, the charge is worth it. They are one of the few places that do a Veal Parm, as a special only, though. One of our favorite spots in Prescott. BTW, there is no wine service, but you are welcome to bring your own. They supply the glasses.
The food is good.service great. No reservations. You can bring your own wine and no corkage fee. They do not serve any alcohol.
Such a great and caring staff. We love the friendliness and the welcoming. The all you can eat salad and bread is a treat for us. No corkage is fantastic, and the service is exceptional.
The food and service was really good. The salad and bread are super delicious. They were out of a few of their popular desserts on this night.
They don't take reservations and they don't serve ANY alcohol. You can, however, bring in your own bottle of wine.
ABSOULTELY A GEM! We read the reviews and make sure to go and check this place out. I want to move here! The food was absolutely out of the park. Homemade and every time I took a bite my eyes rolled back in my head. My husband felt the same way. Flavors were outstanding and the homemade food was like nothing we've ever had before.and we just went to Italy!
1st of all the homemade bread was so delicious. Served with garlic butter that was so flavorful. Then they served a salad with creamy Italian. I don't know if this is a homemade recipe but it was amazing! I had the lobster ravioli with the Vodka sauce. Tons of delicious melted cheese on top. Absolutely outstanding flavors.
My husband had the combo dish with chicken Parm and Fettuccine Alfredo. Tender pasta and real homemade Alfredo. The chicken was crispy yet tender!
The service was outstanding and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I think their model is to serve quickly and boy did they ever. To top it off the waitress said await your new ride? And we said yes this is our 1st time period and they treated us to this huge spumoni and whipped cream dessert! It tastes like homemade ice cream at its finest! We were glad that we had leftovers and had room for that. You can't eat it all!
The best of all is the prices were so reasonable that you could actually afford to go out for dinner and even take the family. Thank you for that!
We travel the world and I will tell you this place is a gem! We will be back. Bravo!
The lasagna is great very meaty and they give you a meatball. You can bring your own wine and they will give you wine glasses that's great.
Best Italian dishes anywhere, more than enough food than you can eat. Cozy n quant. Wonderful staff. 5 stars for from us
First time here and the experience was fantastic. Chicken Piscataway was perfect. Clams Linguine my husband loved. Maria was our server and she was very attentive.
We split an Italian Lemon Creme Cake.wow wonderful. Our new favorite restaurant!
Best Italian food I've ever had. Shrimp scampi, chicken masala & pasta with meat sauce is out of this world delicious. On top of that is the great service.
Salad and bread were great! Lasagna was like a soup, noodles way over cooked, ½cm of ricotta cheese tons of sauce. Spaghetti noodles were sticky and cold, meatballs tasted old
Always love this place when I'm in town. It has become a family tradition for us. It always feels like you are eating at your Italian families house. Really good authentic food.
Wow! Talk about Italian food, they have it all! From a huge menu to chalkboard specials! I had the Shrimp Scampi - delicious! Had to try out the Tiramisu, it was Awesome!
We love, love, love this place! We showed up at 6 pm on a Saturday so of course we had to wait a bit, but well worth the wait! When we were shown to our booth a salad bowl and bread were waiting for us. Our waitress was obviously busy with customers, but we happily devoured our very good salad and excellent bread while perusing the large menu. A sandwich board showed the night's specials. I had the Chicken Piccata which had a lovely fresh lemon wine sauce, and my husband had Sausage stuffed pasta, yum! Be sure to byob. The Tiramisu is to die for!
Had been here once before about 10-12 years ago and it was very nice. If I remember right, it was the actual owner who came to our table that visit and was very pleasant and wanted to make sure we were having a good experience. Went last night for Mother’s Day. Four of us. We requested a booth. Had to wait over an hour in the teensy loud foyer. When they finally seated us it was at a table, which, ok, they were slammed and that’s where they could finally seat us. The main thing that struck me was how droves of people came thru the door while we’d already been waiting over the course of an hour or more, and walked straight back to the seating area with their wines and hugs all around to the rest of the regulars, while we languored in the super crowded noisy foyer. The way all the regulars apparently knew each other and obviously had special arrangements with the owner to override the newbies (us) so we were last on the totem pole. The service was horrid. Absolutely the worst I’ve had in 30 years. Servers kept changing and our teas and drinks were empty for at least 20-30 minutes before they refilled them, and we had to literally stop a server to request refills and, although not outwardly rude, they neglected us like we were 3rd class citizens. At one point after they finally brought our meals we asked for napkins and refills. Another 20 minutes later and we had to request again bc they’d “forgotten “ about us. Terrible server attitudes. Not one single smile or welcome words. The food was its only saving grace, which was good. But I like my sit-down dining to include good service and they definitely didn’t provide even a lick of that. If you’re not a regular expect to be overrun by the good ol boy club, because you’ll be treated poorly. I won’t be back.
So been there a few times. Sometimes great, other times not. Last month had eggplant parmigiana. It had a weird taste, like old oil or burned. It used to be cooked to perfection and tasted great. Was very disappointed this last time.
