Dr. Atassi
My first experience with Dr Atassi was great. Very attentive to my concerns. I'm very glad I went to him. A very professional Dr. Thank You.

Toke four months for results for low heart beat. The process would take one month with other heart doctors. I was so stressed out and sick and these people could of cared less. Would not recommend this place at all.

This review regards office practices. They seem to transfer ALL incoming calls to a message system. You can never speak to anyone and they don't return calls when you leave a message. So sorry Dr Kalanithi is retiring, ir was never like this before and he was most excellent.

Worst experience with a doctor I've ever had. Went to my PC to get Rx changed due to side effects. PC referred me to Dr. Atassi's office. Recommended I see Dr. Garcia and now I understand why. I could only get an apt with Dr. Atassi for several weeks out. I had to reschedule my work schedule and take time off for the apt. I arrived a bit early to check in and was excited to finally get relief from the issues I've been experiencing. I walked in to a FULL waiting room, it looked a bit like a free clinic. At the front desk was a sign saying they would expel you from their practice if you were belligerent. I also now understand why that sign was necessary. I was called back to see Dr. Atassi 1hr 5 min after my appointment was scheduled to start. I was taken to the roo, they did an ekg then the jr doctor came in and talked to me about my situation. He recommended an Rx change based on my side effects. He left and Dr. Atassi came in the room to speak with me. I attempted to tell him about my symptoms and why I was there to have Rx changed. He became offended when I mentioned I had googled the side effects and found an article supporting that the Rx could cause that side effect. He proceeded to gaslight me and didn't want to change the drugs since "all drugs have side effects". He then recommended a different drug, to make me happy, but it was against his recommendation. The drug name sounded familiar and I asked if it was a drug they had prescribed to me in the past because it made me very sick. He said he didn't know and didnt have the record. He then walked me out to the lobby to check out. He immediately called the pharmacy to give me the other drug. While I was in the lobby I asked the nurse for a list of the previously prescribed drugs and sure enough the drug he called in was one I had taken which made me very ill. I was crying as I left, feeling totally dismissed and knowing it will be months before i will be able to get this resolved. Now I have to spend time calling them back to straighten out this mess he caused because he was either too busy or too narcissistic to listen to his patients. I'm appalled that this happened.

This review is for Dr. Atassi. I took my 84 for her 1 week follow up after The Dr placed a stent in her arterie. He yelled, slammed his fist on counter, slammed the door. So disrespectful and abusive. My mom went out crying. We're done with him!

This review is for Dr Atassi, he’s rude, doesn’t listen, provides poor quality of care. Need to contact the board about his license he’s a nut job. He’s overwhelmed and over booked and on the run. How are you able to treat your patients if you don’t have enough time and then he says words like “I don’t have time to explain to you” and then ask if we have any questions and then when we ask something we get talked down on or he yells at you and puts his hands and fingers in your face … don’t get me started in the front staff definitely need to get trained in the customer service area and learn how to speak to patients with out the eye rolling or attitudes… also learn to spread out the appointments so we don’t have to wait for an hour plus after our scheduled time to be seen. Definitely do not recommend this place or Dr!

It has been over 40 days since I have had an ultrasound ordered by Dr. Atassi. (Dec1,2022) The results were ready in seven days. I haven't been given the results by conference call or any other means. The Veterans Admin.has requested the results. No luck I have tried several times by phone to obtain the information. I have been hung up on twice. Still no luck! Is the office sloppy or inept? I have been forced to obtain a lawyer She will file written complaints to all agencies involved with Dr. Atassi's office. Including the AZ Board of Medicine. Withholding medical records is unlawful. Also the city prosecutor will be contacted to discuss the delay of diagnosis, mental and emotional stress, elder abuse, etc.
I am a Vietnam veteran that is home bound. I have had exploratory surgery on my right groin, a by-pass in my left groin. When I walk, with the aid of a cane, the distance is measured in feet not miles. Due to a brain stem stroke, I have use of only one arm and a very weaken leg. If there is deterioration of the by-pass or blood clots, I need to know.
