DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4 STAR RATING! I ate here with some friends after a long day of hiking and we just wanted some good Mexican food and expected anywhere we went to be fine. We were so wrong. We walked in and there was nobody there during what should have been busy hours (first red flag). We said ok, whatever and gave it a shot. We got a chip basket of bland pale chips and the salsa was self serve. We asked for margaritas and they said they did not have any…at a Mexican restaurant!? They then said they had beer but not the local craft beer we asked for which was on the menu. The red flags were piling up. The menu is more than half American food which we were not interested in and the choices for Mexican food was extremely limited. We went ahead with the order against our better judgement and were greeted with the most bland, tasteless food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. Literally nothing had flavor. Also, we realized we were never given more chips because they charge for refills — which is ridiculous for a Mexican restaurant. The one positive thing I can say is the server was nice, but we were also the only patrons she was serving.

Stop in for a lite lunch and ordered 2 shrimp tacos with a real coke. Both were delicious and the portion was just the right sized. Sampled the fresh salsa bar and really enjoyed the green salsa. Tacos were delicious and service was great. Always make a point to stop in for authentic Mexican when ever I’m in area.

It was really bad we had enchiladas and carne asada sopas the enchiladas were the senoran style flat.and there was no asada meat unless they consider ground beef either way it wasn't a good bite.sorry not sorry.

Ordered a shrimp tostada and a green chili tostada, both delicious with generous fillings. Looking forward to trying more of their offerings. Excellent value! Garcias!

I found this place on Maps and it had 4.5 stars so I thought it would be good. I had the fajitas and I have to say that they were the worst fajitas I’ve ever had. They were more like bland chicken with vegetables you could make at home. The best part was the homemade corn tortillas. Salsa was decent, nothing special. Food was ok but I would not go back.

Some of the best fish tacos! No need to add anything. Happy hour one shot with a 20% tip is about $10 so not too happy but definitely a few hours 2P-5P. Great service, however my last drink was given in a dirty glass and the happy hour discount wasn’t added, I do have a stuffy nose and sore throat few hours later so I probably won’t be back but was a decent experience. I do not recommend vegetarian tamales.

Don't waste your time and money the service is very bad and the food is not good been here twice VERY OVER PRICE never go back again

We been there 2 times both times very Bad service never gets the order right and food is cold. There prices áre ridiculously hight. And food not worth the money.

Very disappointed in this place, the manager is all about the money and not customer service, she could care less of what experience you had and doesn’t even apologizes. They over charged me, so just make sure you check your receipt before paying. I only got two tocos with avocados and she charged me for 5 tocos with avocados. I will definitely not be coming back or be recommending this place.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. They say its a mexican food restaurant they barely have any mexican food! I ordered south western burger, it was disgusting could not even eat it. I asked for the ranch on the side and it was on the top. It was frozen meat from a year old. I also ordered the mangonada drink and they put no liquor in it when we were charged for it and my bf he ordered the deluxe Philly they messed his order up and it was really pathetic looking and just a hot dog bun. He could not even eat it. It was all fat! The manager would not even make it right! Horrible. I don't understand how this place is still in business. Nasty and they had no lights on. Will not be back or recommend. I would stay away.

Menudo was bomb and had patas. Homemade corn tortillas. The only thing I wish they had tortilla warmers to keep the tortillas hot the salsa bar was OK could of been a bit spicier. But other than that the food was good.

This place was horrible only two types of salsas and not enough food no flavor to expensive for bad food and the noodles were very hard and tastes raw 17 dollar pasta with only 7 shrimps I don't recommend.

Terrible! I've eaten here a few other times prior and it was not very good, not authentic. But, I thought since it has been awhile I would try them again. I got the birria street tacos. The meat tasted like it was boiled and not to mention the huge chunk of bone I crunched on. The prices are high also. If you want some good authentic mexican dishes, go to Juanitas Taqueria in Cottonwood. I would highly Not recommend.

Best fish taco I have ever had. Better than anywhere I got in Rocky Point, or El Golfo. Home made tortillas, well balanced and very clean/fresh fish, breaded perfect. Know what your ordering there, if you want a burger go somewhere else. Don’t ask Jagger to play strawberry fields…

Poor service more interested in watching tv than waiting on us. My food was ok but my friends had onion in it that she didn’t ask for only able to eat a bite or two of her burrito. French fries were fresh and yummy. Would not eat there again. When we told her about the onion issue she just said ok. Charged full price. Restaurant was hot also.

One of my most favorite Mexican food spots in the Verde Valley. Great handmaid homemade tortillas. Youll feel like family.

Horrible! Got quesadillas 2 orders and a burritos and they charged me $44, it was takeout…. Did I mention you don’t get any rice or beans no guacamole. No drinks with the order. And it was $44, you can guarantee that I am nit coming back. Oh did I mention that it wasn’t cooked completely and was room temperature. The burrito came with French fries …. Really was I at a Mexican restaurant or something else …. Do not go there, go anywhere else even Taco Bell or jack in the box has better food and a fraction of the cost.

Everything is made by hand in the restaurant, very accommodating and helpful. I am glad we stopped here before going through Sedona. Big portion sizes and amazing flavor. Unique dishes like tinga, nopales, and homemade authentic gorditas.
