Last Resort Car Rental, Phoenix AZ

Last Resort car rental saved my entire trip. When I arrived at the airport, the company I booked my car with needed to see my drivers license. I don’t carry my wallet when I travel in fear of losing it and having to replace all my cards (not to mention everything is on my phone now, it’s 2024). Regardless, I have a photo of my license on my phone along with my passport. This wasn’t good enough for the rental company (once again, it’s 2024 why are we still needing to carry around physical ID cards anymore?). This put me in a tremendous bind. Thankfully a gentleman I happened to run into told me about Last Resort. Within 5 minutes a gentleman named Allan picked me up, drove me to their office and within 10 minutes I had a car and was set. Tremendous customer service and willing to do anything to help out (unlike every single car rental company I went to for help that day). Whenever I come to the Phoenix area now, Last Resort will be my only resort. Thank you kindly once again for all your help and amazing customer service.

Rusty was at the airport when my card was declined. They would not split the payment with two cards. He rescued my life and allowed me to pick up my my wife or my girlfriend at the hospital hospital that had surgery has no one to pick her up and so he made my he made my day. He’s a wonderful gentleman and he’s rock. He’s 5 Star. He deserves a raise

Positive experience renting a car here. I rented a toyota corolla for 5 days.the car was a bit old but I could drive it without problems (I just needed a car to go around Phoenix). The staff is friendly and ready and quick to help - I did not have a credit card and they do rentals also with prepaid and debit cards.

Last Resort is amazing and saved my butt! Rasty was so kind and amazing listening to my issue and providing a solution that was affordable. I would recommend this car rental company and will being using them every time I visit. They've gained a loyal customer just through their kindness alone.

Last resort rental car is the best rental company I have ever been to staff is amazing and very friendly, cars are all good I rented a sienna and they gave it to me for an affordable price!

I had a very nice experience he helped make the process very easy. A lot of different cars to pick from and if I had any questions about my car he was always available to help. Definitely would recommend he’s the sweetest

If I could put 0, I would. Rented the sienna from him and it ended up getting scratched. They charged me over $9000 for a few scratches and dents. I payed them upfront and they did not even tell insurance. Never even showed me the contract, and the people that work there are rude! Avoid this place!

Last Resort car rental saved our trip! When we arrived at the Phoenix Airport the line for (where we had reserved a car almost a year in advance) was wrapped around the airport! We tried to find other options within the airport but there were no mini vans available. The people in front of us on line, found Last Resort and gave us their information! With one quick phone call, Andy (the owner) was at the airport picking us up in a beautiful brand new mini van! I was skeptical at first. (this is too good to be true, I thought), but upon meeting Andy and his wife at their office, they made us feel very at ease and comfortable. Their rates were slightly higher than Budget but the service and convenience was well worth it! They saved us an entire day waiting on line. We were able to start our wonderful trip as planned. When it was time to return the car, we simply dropped it off at their office (5 minutes from the airport) and Andy took us right to our airline. The van was spotless, and the service was wonderful. I would highly recommend using Last Resort as your first resort when traveling to Phoenix!

Fox in Sky Harbor demanded to see a credit card. My wife and I do not have a credit card. Got ahold of Last Resort and they hooked us up big time! Came and got us from the airport, gave us an amazing deal, and treated us like we were family. Phoenix is not known for this type of hospitality in a business setting. They weren’t trying to make a quick dollar, they wanted satisfied customers. Thank you so much Last Resort! We will be back, and would recommend you to EVERYONE traveling to Phoenix!

WRONG BRANDING! This should be FIRST CHOICE RENTAL CARS! Our experience was nothing short of amazing!
desperate for a rental (as Hertz tried to force us into the Grand Canyon with an electric vehicle-how stupid is that? !) for the Grand Canyon and Sedona exploration. Rasty was fantastic as were all the folks we met there. They take you to the airport upon your return (less than 5 minutes to the airport!) They pick you up upon arrival at the airport, drive you to their office, paperwork takes minutes and we were off and on our way! Our definite "go to" whenever we fly to Phoenix! Can't wait for them to go regional and national. They Rock!

Thank you Rasty and the Last Resort team. We arrived in town to find a huge line for our rental. Our soccer team had a game to get to and we could not wait in line. Last Resort came through with great service, vehicles we needed, and our team made it to our game on time!

We were stuck at the Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. We had an issue with our rent a car and had to cancel our reservations and start all over. Unfortunately there was a lot going on in Phoenix that week and the lines to each Car Rental were a mile long. One of the guys at one of the rental companies recommended these guys and within 10 minutes we were picked up, got a Rav 4 and were on our way for half the price and dealt with the nicest people. They are wonderful! Saved our vacation BIG TIME! Definitely using them for our yearly reunion EVERY YEAR! Thank you guys, you’re the BEST!
