LavaJet Laundromat, Tucson AZ

I've been coming here for months and lately it's just been dirty and the washer and dryers haven't been worth the price. A third of the times I've come my clothes end up smelling like a dirty dog after I paid over 5$ per machine I don't even have a dog that's just gross. The most recent time I came in they were cleaning the fans and were brushing the fan with a dirty floor broom and using a leaf blower WHILE THEY WERE RUNNING didnt even bother turning the fans off to prevent it from going everywhere. I could see the dust build up flying around the air getting all over people's freshly washed clothes. It's just disappointing for the price I'm paying.

If you think this is an attack on your business you need to reevaluate your situation. I've seen dog hair in the machines and I move over but when it looks clean and I wash my clothes and they stink after that's not okay. I honestly should've asked for a refund. Go watch your cameras on 6/14/23 and watch as your employee uses a DIRTY BROOM to try and clean a DIRTY DUST FILLED FAN.it was gross.

All I can say is it's on you as the awful owner. You don't even know what goes on in your own building.

I love this laundry mat I know the owner on a personal matter he's a great that looks out for his customers he has brand new washing machines that work really well his manager is great also she's a hard worker that does great service to help out the customers and keeps the laundry mat clean if the mat was close to where I livvewould be be using the mat full time

All these girls are such hard workers keep up the work ladies, it smelled so clean washer were so shiny they all look brand new definitely coming back

Always clean. I would give 5 stars if not for the new lady working there. She wears a blue apron thing and she’s very rude, she is not a people person. After just taking my clothes out of the dryer She made me take all my clothes out of the basket to put in a different one because she needs to have one small ice available to go outside. Mind you after taking the basket from me she just parked it at the front by the door. I watched for 10 minutes and no one came to use the basket so she made me switch baskets for no reason. Honestly I don’t even wanna go back because of her.
Would give 5 stars if not for the rude worker.

I love going to this laundromat it is always clean and ready to use. Me and my family and friends prefer coming to Lava jet rather than any other laundromat. The employees there are always friendly and there when you need them for anything. So thank you Miss Helen and Glorian for making my laundry days experience a good one, and always so accommodating

This is the worst laundromat ever there dryer dis not dry my clothes a d they would not refund me or start another dryer!

I've been to multiple Laundromats across town. This one is by far the cleanest. They have so many machines to choose from. I will for sure be coming back soon.

You have an amazing employee that works for you I only see her working when I come in I don't know if you have any other employees give that girl a raise she's a hard worker and looks out for your customers

You have an employee there that I see all the time she's got British hair she's an amazing worker the other girl on the other hand that I see there fire her

This is a clean laundromat. They have very nice machines. They also have XXL machines so you can do bedding and large rugs in. I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly.

Owner went over and beyond for his laundromat, all new machines, beautiful upgrades, keep up the good work lavajet workers, definitely will return

I’m now lowering my review to 1 star. “Owner response” said they reviewed the video and said I was yelling and going crazy. See my original review below. Poor excuse for management response. You suck!
Poor quality service/dryer!
The washers I used were good and new, but expensive. The dryers suck! $1.25 for 30 minutes. No other options. Did my sheets and tech shirts in one machine, two times =$3, and they came out wet and COLD. I complained and the the woman didn’t care! Just said it was working earlier. No respect/sympathy for me or the situation. And, she didn’t even offer to give me even the cost of one session back. Didn’t take the dryer out of service either. I’ve never had to go over 45 to get everything dry.

Visiting family and needed to clean some clothes. Didn't want to use the hotel machines. Found this place in Google. Opens early (7am) which is great. Lots of machines. There is an attendant on site. Machines were new and clean. Everything was great. When I come back to Tucson and need a washer and dryer, I will be coming back here.

Big clean machines different sizes, they have atm and they even showed me how to use machine the only thing was the bathroom was disgusting

It was my first time visiting this laundromat and I must say, I was very impressed. It was very clean and well maintained. The washers seemed to be new because they were also very clean and had no odors or grime (like many do). I was most surprised by the gentleman that worked there, I believe his name is Alex. He came over to offer his help with the washers and dryers, and was friendly to me and others in the laundromat that day. It’s hard to find great customer service these days, but this place has it. All in all, I was very impressed and will definitely be back.
