Le Fevre Overlook and Rest Area reviews
14Great view. A brief walk from the parking lot to the view place is a little tricky when ice is present, but not a big problem, as you can use handrails to keep from falling. I am 72 and had no problem with the walk.
Very quiet. No light pollution. Could see UFOs right after sun went down. I drive cross country and love stopping at these off the beaten path places. AMAZING!
Incredible view of The Grand Staircase. Worth stopping for 5 minutes to take in an awe inspiring view of heaven on earth
The views from here are tremendous, you can clearly see the steps in the Grand Staircase. There is a large parking area so RVs can stop but there are about 10 steps to the top and no wheelchair ramp so this place is not Handicap Accessible
A must stop when coming in or or out of the Grand Canyon that is as it is in spectacular is there a view from this lower rest stop and you can just sit there relax is there relax bring a sandwich with you and just enjoy the views. If yet if you are lucky enough to catch a nice clear beautiful day and this place is even that much more magnificent. The only downside is driving into this place most of the trees have been burned by a fire a few years back so it does not look that pretty driving into it but once there the overlook is amazing
This a great spot to get an amazing view of Grand Staircase country. Honestly you can't take a bad picture here. We were on our way from Zion National Park to North Rim Grand Canyon. This was about half way and provided a good place to stretch our legs and marvel at the scenery. Plenty of parking too.
Breath taking view. This is a must check out spot if you are going past it. Good spot to stretch the legs!
This is one of the best places to see the individual layers of rock and dirt that comprise the Vermillion Cliffs. If you’re headed out to Jacob Lake Inn, it’s a no brainer to stop here, stretch the legs, and take in the view. There’s also a bathroom at the rest stop parking lot so that’s a bonus as well.
Had fun viewing the landscape with the big scope. I didn't know how to use it properly, but with the burned Forrest to the right and beautiful view down and to the left, I can sit here and admire what's in front for hours on.time permits.of course.
If you aren't paying attention you will drive right by and it is so worth the stop. It's the best view of the Grand Staircase. It has a few short side trails, a paved trail to the overlook, and some picnic tables.
Nice stop wonderful view of the Grand Staircase.

Good place to rest in the highway.
If interested you can climb and check the view.
STUNNING, the views, the wildflowers, don't miss it. I almost made a detour just to visit it again the next day
Visiting a beautiful piece of my family history was well worth the effort. It was absolutely stunning.
