Huge fans of Lee's as I've frequented the Las Vegas location. Such a disappointing experience last Saturday afternoon. I understand you are under construction but the sandwiches I received were extremely sub par. I frequent Lee's pretty regularly and order their #4 (asian chicken sandwich) often. My sandwich was mostly pickled vegetables and less than 2/3 meat. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on croissant and it was so greasy. Was somebody mad at us? A miss on two favorites. It wasn't even that busy when the order was placed. If I wasn't too far we would have returned the sandwiches.

The one star is exclusively for the very long wait times to place an order. Many times just 1 cashier is working - and this is during prime lunch hours!
Very frustrating when you have to wait 20 minutes just to pay for a baguette. Never had long wait times at the Las Vegas location - plenty of cashiers but in Chandler just a single cashier!

Excellent location if you want a bahn mi! They also serve other types of sandwiches too. Bun bao, egg rolls, che, they have quite a few other options too. They've renovated and they place is awesome! So clean and spacious!

How often do you come across a real treasure? Once every couple of years? Well, the Chandler AZ treasure of 2007 is Lee's Sandwiches, and I wish them much success.

Why I Give Mad Props to Lee's Sandwiches:
1. They have outdoor seating with mist-ers to keep customers cool, even at 110 degrees.
2. Add a statuesque actor in trademark John Wayne Gasey white makeup & a gondola canal inside, and you'd have the Venetian. Then again, maybe not, but there is a mini concave rotunda built into the ceiling, painted with the colors of the wind.
3. They have a baguette factory. Watch stainless steel machinery crank out French style loaves, while you and your chums enjoy an affordable meal in the dining area.
4. Eighteen different flavors of gelato.
5. They have a Deli Manjoo cream cake counter, with colorful carrying cases for to-go orders.
6. Fresh bread, fresh whole cilantro and thinly sliced fresh jalapenos joined forces to awaken sleepy taste buds.
7. The stylish Lance Armstrong style rubber bracelet which was affixed to each sandwich to keep the wrapper on tight. Okay, it was just a sixteenth of an inch wide and only came in white. What do you all want for nothing? A rubber biscuit?
8. The low low prices.
9. My meal provided me with a front row seat to the putrid-pudding-stampede, at no additional cost.

Why I Put Lee's Sandwiches on Blast:
1. They don't take plastic.but they do have a shifty looking ATM against the wall.
2. The sweetly pickled julienned carrot sticks which were strategically placed on my meatball and bbq pork subs. I didn't find the extra crunch to be an appealing augmentation.
3. Some of the aromas emitted from behind the counter were not altogether inviting.

Finally, I found the cashier to be very friendly. When I walked in with only a Hamilton, and the bill came to $10.11, guess who covered my shortage? That's right, Nicole the benevolent cashier.

So yummy! Fresh baked goods and delicious sandwiches! Just make sure you bring cash. They keep prices affordable by not accepting credit or debit cards, however, they do have an ATM in the restaurant.

Lee's sandwiches is the BEST place for legit Banh Mi in the valley. The fact that they are a classic french bakery too is pure gravy. Very modest prices, fresh bagets, properly pickled veggies and wide variety of fillings make it a must visit. If they served Pho, I would never leave.

Stop being old and closing at 8. Close at 10pm. This closing early nonsense is why people think Chandler is for old people.

Great sandwiches at extremely reasonable prices. The lemongrass beef sandwich on a baguette is delicious.

Best banh mi I've ever had. This is my gold standard that I compare the country's Vietnamese sandwiches to. I have yet to find anything comparable.

Why didn't I try this place sooner!? The Lee's (Vietnamese) coffee is amazing and the sandwiches are excellent. Sometimes I go in just for the fresh, hot baguettes.

They bake baguettes constantly throughout the day and they are excellent. Before World War II, Vietnam used to be French Indochina. Consequently, Vietnamese baked goods are outstanding is all of their sandwiches

I am so inlove with this place, So many choices of sandwiches to choose from. I love the lemongrass beef with extra meat they have frozen coffees you can defrost and make 3 drinks out of it with. I bought coffee drip set that makes some awesome string coffee, for 21 bucks it was a great gift to myself and a fellow coffee lover of mine. Check this place out after you check out Lee Lee's market!

Overall, great Vietnamese sandwiches. Main differences from San Jose locations.in Chandler, they do not add cucumbers to the sandwiches. I miss that. Other issue is the sandwich prices has crept up in price over the years. Only a few years ago, you could get the same sandwich for about $2.50. They now cost almost $5.00 today. Still decent but the cost value isn't as good anymore.

Really amazing tasting sandwiches and iced coffee. Need to try a bunch of different things in the future but so far everything we've had is on point.
