Life Storage - Scottsdale

I love storing with Life Storage (Now merged with Extra Space) and I do so in multiple states. Facilities are clean and safe and mgmt is great. Lance at my Scottsdale facility is a wonderful mgr, always friendly and willing to help.

Lance at the Acoma site has been wonderful to work with. The facility itself is clean and easy to find. Why I recommend this site though is because of Lance, The Manager. He's helpful, always willing to go the extra mile, and easy to work with. He's the best!

I had issues with getting my keys stuck, customer service was very friendly and helpful, which is fantastic for me as a socially awkward person. These are the kind of people you give your business to.

Manager Lance is amazing from day one! Every experienced and friendly!
Lance Educated me on the check-in process, to setting up my card information, the procedure to obtain access to my unit.
I had issues with with payment and he’s always been a pleasure to work with when I needed help

Lance, has been extremely helpful on my last minute move from Tx. He is always so friendly and helpful, accommodating to all of my moving needs. There needs to be more customers service people like Lance.

Honestly, if I could give 6 stars I would! I had the absolute best customer service experience I’ve had in some time. From my first visit, Lance was extremely personable, friendly and very helpful! His property is immaculate and he was more than happy to show me multiple units that would potentially fit my storage needs. I can’t say enough great things about the property and Lance himself. Lance is incredible and made moving into the storage units a breeze. The facilities themselves are top notch. Everything is safe and impeccably clean. You can tell he takes pride in the space he manages.

Lance has the best customer service of any person I have met! He helped me when I was out of the country and has helped me more than I can imagine over the years. He is friendly and a great person overall. I never give reviews, however, he is worth it!

Lance was absolutely great, and a phenomenal sport about having to change the locks multiple times while trying to work out the unit issue!

Update: Monthly Price was hiked by $50 within 5 months even though I was told that the price wouldn’t be hiked for an entire year. Also, the person onboarding me said that price hikes would only be ‘a couple dollars’. I contacted the owner, and he claims storage space is $288 but is giving a discount at $250. I should’ve interpreted the red flags early on—he tried to sneakily rescind my discount, only to give it back after I pushed back on it. He asked for a 5 star review in return.

Well, today I rescind my 5 stars. I also rescind the 20+ recommendations I gave to my friends and family that were moving to Scottsdale. Lastly, I rescind all respect I had for this establishment and owner. I can deal with some messiness and lack of quality—I absolutely cannot tolerate a lack of integrity.

This kind of sneaky, dishonest dealing is just about the most un-American thing one should never have to experience in a great State like Arizona, yet here we are. Life storage deserves 0 stars.

Ive had the best storage experience today at Life Storage - Scottsdale. Anne was able to be there for me and helped me understand the charges that I’d be paying monthly, and upfront. She was very communicative on everything from where my unit is, directions, the area. Everything. I appreciate her being there for me. She was able to adhere my needs. I was given three keys and was told I’d be able to keep the lock and keys upon moving out. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Anne.
