Life Storage - Scottsdale reviews
16I just rented a storage unit from Life Storage. When I arrived both sales associates were friendly and greeted me with respect. Gabby helped me locate my new unit. Gabby was very helpful, diligent and professional. Additionally, the facility was very clean. If you need a place to store your personal belongings, don’t hesitate to choose Life Storage.
Great experience, clean, cool easy access. The only complaint I would have is after a month I was in storage the raised my fees by $40.00 so I moved out.
Finn was very helpful in sharing all the details and showing several units until we found the right one. He worked with each of my needs and gave me clear answers for each of my questions.
My storage unit was broken into there in the past and never once was there any reaching out from the company. I lost thousand with of items. I just rented two units there and Ive been charged 350 a unit for a 12x10. Now I'm paying just under $200 for a 10x15
Super friendly young man signed me up for a 10×12 unit. Unit is sparkling clean, aisles are spacious, 3 elevators to access upper floors. This is a great place to store items.
I was extremely please with Taylor, the young lady that assisted me at previewing my desired unit, getting all documents, locks and insurance set up, and having access to it in less that 30mins. I love the safety, quietness and cleanliness of the buildings.will stay with LifeStorage for a long time!
Very cordial and thoughtful agents.showed me the complete facility and how it operated.very impressive.
I've rented from this storage facility for almost 2 years and aesthetically it is beautifully. But their money hungry and have discriminatory practices
Life Storage in Scottsdale is very modern, immaculate, and the staff is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. When I arrived I was provided with a tour of the facility and can confidently direct my movers over the weekend. Also, LifeStorage offers packing materials for sale in the office area which is very convenient.
Excellent facility, clean, safe, well managed, and, importantly, competent staff. Gabby was exceptional and a consistent face over the 2 1/2 years I leased.
Clean! Accuracy! Communication! I am satisfied with my choice to join this storage location.
Life Storage is in a class of its own! It is immaculately clean, air conditioned, well laid out, conveniently located, and staffed with excellent employees. Gabby answered my questions with knowledge, clarity, and courtesy. She is a great representative of the company. I highly recommend Life Storage!
The service I received from Gabby was out of this world. I have never used a storage facility so I felt very uneasy. Gabby walked me through EVERYTHING. Even when I wasn’t grasping it… she was extremely patient and kind. I have never received service like this ANYWHERE! Facility was clean and well organized.
I just want to thank Gabby for her professionalism, but most of all her kindness, interpersonal and customer service skills. Gabby loves her job and it truly shows. We need a lot more Gabbys in the world. Thank you, Gabby.
Gabby is wonderful to work with and knows her stuff. Great climate controlled building and clean!
B Bottom line: Be ready to move out every 3-6 months.
The great (Score=5) : Gabby, the manager. She always returns calls quickly. She knows her property as in what’s available and coming available. She calls politely when you forget to secure your space or leave something out by accident. The property is squeaky clean, no bugs, no rodents. I’ve seen her fairly and politely handle problem people.
The good (Score = 4) : Life Storage has cameras for added security. In three years, never had an issue with property. Spaces are very usable and secure.
The bad (Score = 1) : They can’t seem to raise the rent fast enough and frequently enough. Within a year, your rent may double or triple. Instead of thanking you for loyalty, they just want more and more money from you. This despite many visible vacancies. Feels predatory, because they know how hard it is to move. In fairness, Public Storage does the same thing. As a result, I have had no choice but to develop a packing system that has me ready to move on every three to six months depending on how much the rent increases. I can’t store as much because it’s all packed for a quick exit. Still, what a major hassle. That decreases the value of the available storage space and renders my overall score a 3. My nickname for Life Storage is “Store Less—Stay less—Pay More. ” Still, a better choice than Public Storage.
