Lighthouse/City YMCA reviews
18Nice selection of music for outdoor classes. Thanks for demonstrating your commitment to community & respect by increasing the volume and the screaming. The shouting and turning up their music was contagious for everyone in the park until some people left in frustration. That's how to drive out the competition
I thought this would be a great place for my son to spend his summer. However, they are disorganized, and I'm very disappointed in this facility. The supervisor Rebecca Lake not respecting my son, she was yelling and shouting and asking me to go another location.
I went to a "Body Balance" class with my girlfriend. It was my first time. I felt support and encouragement.
Forever grateful for the difference the Y community made in my mom’s quality of life in her later years!
A family friendly Y with the best group classes instructors for Barre, Pilates, LIFT, Zumba and Yoga. You can get so much out with a nominal monthly fees!
Staff is super friendly. However, the whole reason I joined is to swim at 7 am, which is what the hours state Monday thru Friday. I am 62 and swimming is great for my aching body. Seven times out of the last several week it hasn't been open. I went at 7: 15 to 7: 30, hoping it would be open a few minutes later. Very disappointed. I am probably going to cancel my new membership and look elsewhere
This place is the worst, do not leave your children here. They will harm your children and cover it up.
Nice clean, we had our Homeowners Association meeting here. Room for thirty or so $50.00 for two hours.
Great atmosphere. People there just to work out not primp and pose. Clean modern facilities with everything you need for total fitness. Friendly, helpful staff always available.
Clean and great place to go to. I admire it's fans and cooling systems. Overall great place
My children and my grandchildren have went to YMCA light house, they have had the time of their lives,
Workout rooms with the latest equipment, outdoor pool, a variety of classes for every level of fitness for toning muscles & cardio health, relaxation with Pilates, a bright cheerful staff & facility make this a top notch Y in Tucson where everyone knows your name. -Bridget M.
I really like this place since they remodeled and imost of the staff is okay some of the members are questionable they're kind of rude but the biggest problem I have with this place is the parking lot has giant potholes throughout it. It's difficult to avoid all the potholes in that parking lot.
Pools not open, if they had that on the website I wouldn't have driven twenty minutes.
Facility has been updated and continues to get equipment upgrades. Love the cycling class there.
Really happy they opened again. Everything clean, well spaced, mandatory masks and new equipment to boot. Yea!
Great family oriented gym. Friendly staff, wonderful amenities like the Indoor Cycling Studio, Outdoor Pool, Group Exercise Classes and very nice Cardio and Strength Training Equipment. I most absolutely recommend this location.
Very very poor quality due to the Director Carolyn Schwartz not able to provide resources. The youth Center is not a good one. 2 years ago my children started, recently, we've decided that we will no longer attend. Employee's also need to provide activities and respect to the children. Carolyn S. Has been the downfall in regard to the quality.
