LINE-X of Tucson reviews
12 LineX did an amazing job on my 2018 Tacoma and it looks awesome!
I recently purchased it from a private owner who used it to renovate houses. The bed of the truck had concrete and other stains all over. I had LineX spray the bed, the bumper, the grill and the railing to cover up the stains and break up the overwhelming white. I now have truck that looks new, has a customized appearance and is better protected from the elements. Ray and his team at LineX have earned my respect and appreciation for a job exceptionally well done.
The gentleman working at this establishment are so nice, I'm grateful for them. They let me and my partner use their waiting room to wait for an uber after freezing from fairly heavy rain. They're awesome people! If I ever need trunk accessories I'll be there.
The actual spary work is exceptional. Looks great. No complaint regarding the liner. Not happy that they have broken the reverse brake assist on my ford f150. In order to get this corrected I have to take it to the dealership. How do you folks not know that happens with Ford trucks? Talk about effen inconvienient.
Thank you to everyone for such professional care with this job. It appeared that three skilled LINE-X technicians were involved as well as a LINE-X organizer that also answered many of my questions over the phone.
LINE-X Tucson delivered on my exact requests & worked through the end of their shifts to do their best work.
I recommend others that can use truck bed protection/accessories to come here.
I had Line-X premium done on my truck by them. It took about 2.5 hours. They had a couch and WiFi so I was able to get some work done while I waited. I’m very happy with the outcome.
I've called sporadically in the last seven days; during normal business hours. No answer from anyone. Let message. Calls not returned.
Got the Line-X Premium (mid level option). Front desk fit me into an appointment within a few days, truck was completed in a few hours. Fantastic job, a bit of overspray here and there, but nothing obscene. I have a ‘21 Jeep Gladiator - I’ll update the post in a year with photos.
Great costumer service! Maggie took her time to answer all my questions (since it's my first truck) thank you guys it looks awesome!
Definitely the place to go for all your truck bed protection necessities. After calling around to all the shops in Tucson, Line-X quoted me far below anyone else. They even got me in the same day! I couldn't be happier with the work they performed and will be returning next month for my tonneau cover! Hit them up and see for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Sorry I can't recommend.install team acts as though you are a bother to them. Background: They called to move my 12: 30 apt to 11: 30. I accepted. Dropped off my truck at 11: 15. The office and garage are adjacent. I stuck my head in the garage noticing 3-4 guys standing around talking toward the front of the shop. They stopped taking and looked at me like I had three heads. Told them I had an 11: 30 apt. The lead guy pointed at the office and said "there is the office" no kidding! Great first impression. Office staff had 3 people inside at any time friendly enough looked like they were just sitting around in their linex shirts surfing their phones.
I had to hang around and wait for a ride so I got to see the first half of the show. They immediately pulled it in and went to town removing all the bed cleats and the boss (I assumed he was the boss) climbed under the truck apparently to disconnect the tailgate wiring. He stated it was really up in there good and he would have to cut some wire ties & tape and remove the spare. He was really short with me and told his guys to stop working on it as he wasn't sure they could do the job After his little scene telling me how busy he was, he said it would be an extra 80 bucks as they would have to do a lot more prep work in order to leave the tailgate on. I accepted. (my mistake)
Note they also remove the bed bolts (one time use) so now you have guys climbing in your bed without bed bolts not safe or good for the bed I would suppose.
Any way I returned in about 2.5 hours upon their call of being complete. First inspection revealed they missed all up under the bed rails and about 1/2 to 1 inch below in several places. I asked if that is normal. They quickly touched it up with aftermarket spray on. (cheesy)
I also noticed the bed mounted towing plugs didn't have the factory rubber gasket slightly sticking out around them.
I inquired and they said it wasn't needed and they don't do anything just dry rot. (it's a brand new truck) and they do add rigidity to the plugs.
(I asked them for the gasket they had it siting on their tool cart, I fixed it myself upon returning home.)
Anyway, not wanting to make a fuss I drove home 720 bucks lighter with a mediocre job at best.
Once home, I noticed a couple more spots where they had the masking tape from the plastic stuck below the linex. Pulling it off removed the linex for about 1 sq inch, I fixed two of those with my own spray in bed liner in a can (same as they did) Sigh.
Today, while preparing for a trip I went to put in my fifth wheel hitch and noticed that the grommets that surround the puck system were just setting on top and not fitted back into the puck groves. Really guys?
If Linex has some sort of QC for their dealers they should take note or pay a visit. Maybe bring in a local dealer truck and have it done as Joe average see how you are treated and if the product is up to corporate standards.
My next business will be elsewhere, Sorry for the lengthy review.
These guys are the best. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. I’ve had them do a full exterior on my 4Runner (voodoo blue with black accents) and then they just did the bed of my new truck and it’s just insane how intricate these guys are and the fact that they don’t miss anything. Linex itself is an awesome material, I had it in the bed of my old truck which spent 4 years in the sun getting ladders rolled in and out of it everyday and it was still flawless when I traded it in.
