Hire this painting company. Professional, efficient, and no nonsense. Exactly what you hope for when hiring a painter. Excellent for interior and exterior work. Will only use this painter in the future.

Very professional, always on time, very neat. They address all of my concerns. I would recommend this company. The exterior of my house looks like a new house.

Recommended to a client and after he did a poor job, he was hostile to my client and refused to make right on his errors. Do NOT use.

We recently purchased a new house and wanted the interior of our home painted professionally. We are beyond happy with the work that Leo and his team provided. They were incredibly professional and did an absolutely amazing job! I could not have asked for a better experience. They went above and beyond to provide us exactly what we were hoping for. I would recommend Leo to anyone looking to have any painting done.

Update: upgraded to a 3 star review because google filters out 1 star. Also, if you leave an honest review of your experience, you will receive unprofessional text messages chastising you for doing so and it will devolve into a pointless and time consuming debate. Although Leo was afforded the opportunity to fix his work multiple times before this review, I still asked via text if he was willing to make it right or even look at pictures of problem areas since he’d decided to text me. He said no to both. After a couple of days, he finally offered to come look at the issues and then couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t want him back at my house after his clearly stated unwillingness earlier in the text conversation to resolve the issue or even look at pictures and the way he’d been speaking to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if other reviewers had been bullied into removing their reviews, but another reviewer on Yelp seems to have had a very similar situation with poor work quality, text message ranting, and being contacted to change their review.

Original review:
Leo and his guys were very nice, but we did not get what we paid for and we wasted a lot of money. None of the walls were cleaned or prep’d prior to painting. They told us they’d remove nails and fill the holes, but they just painted over the nails. We went from a dark color to a light color and they didn’t prime the walls or apply enough coats; you can still see the darker color peaking through all over the house. There were multiple walls and ceilings in the house where they applied one coat of paint to the whole wall but only half the wall got a 2nd coat.

The entire house really should have received at least one more coat of paint. Instead, Leo came back out by himself and tried to “touch up” with a bristle paint brush. Didn’t even bring a roller brush or a ladder after I told him there were entire walls that needed another coat of paint. So we have huge spots in the middle of walls that received their 2nd coat of paint with a bristle brush and look streaky. He came back out three times and still missed spots even though we walked around together taping them off.

The paint rubs off the wall when trying to clean it with water and a soft sponge. They used the wrong paint in one of the bathrooms and it can’t handle the moisture so there are water streaks up and down the entire wall.

I can’t believe how much money we spent and we’re about to hire another painter to fix all this

We just purchased a home that had very unique colors throughout the interior of the house. We were looking for a painter that could handle the job, so we first searched Google and researched reviews. We then went to Sherman-Williams and met with a sales person who probably knew more about paint than any other sales person we have talked with. While she couldn't recommend anyone specific based on Company Policy, Lion Coat was a very high pick on her personal list. I can say with confidence that she knew her stuff because Lion Coat exceeded our expectations and provided exceptional service. Lion Coat explained up front that it would take 2 coats to tackle the colors and sheen of the current paint and patching required. And they delivered!
Very professional, polite and had a genuine concern for our satisfaction. I would highly recommend. This is our 5th house we have had painted in 4 different states, and none of our experiences compares to the satisfaction that Lion Coat provided with sincere professionalism.

Just had the exterior of our house painted by Lioncoat. Leo, Gilbert, and Leo Sr.did an outstanding job. They professionally prepped our house and repaired and patched stucco before painting. It was a big job using 85 gallons of pure paint and took about 7 days. They were very efficient and careful to remove, relocate, and replace all fixtures and outdoor furniture. The masking was perfect and there was no overspray on patios or plants. They cleaned up every evening, disposed of trash and neatly stacked their equipment before leaving for the day. The cost was reasonable and the guys were friendly and explained everything they were doing. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Lioncoat. They are careful and professional in all aspects
