Little Colorado River Navajo Tribal Park reviews
15 Might as well stop and take a look! Short walk to the edge with great views
Different than the Grand Canyon but no less beautiful.
You'll drive right by so pay attention. This area is free right now. Don't mistake it for the pay one just down the road.
Fantastic find!
After a day in the Grand Canyon, a roadside stop for the Little Colorado Rover Gorge helps reestablish some sense of scale
Great stop off with King Strouf Tours
Cool roadside hike with great view of LCR and surrounding landscape! Merchant stands have fun goods as well.
What an amazing and historic place to visit, Lots of information at the visitors center and we were able to self guide and learn from the many and well written placards in many areas.
I liked it, it has washrooms, and some little booths to buy some stuff. The views are so unique, you see such a different view then at the Grand Canyon. I would definitely recommend stopping in and taking a look.
Surprisingly awesome place with great views. You get walk closely to the edges with lot less people. It's on the desert view drive and signed as scenic point. It's not a long hike but take shades and caps if you are visiting in summer.
Quite rocky hiking but it was an amazing trail. Much more than a scenic overview. Heading west from Cameron towards the Grand Canyon it's the 2nd overlook
An amazing overlook of a beautiful natural formation that occurred millions of years ago. Some times of the seasons you can catch the river flowing. Bring lunch and a jacket as it can get really windy at the overlook.
This are is soooo beautiful! It is definitely worth the stop. Also some hidden gems and canyons can be found.
All I can say is WOW! It is the Grand Canyon without the crowd. Actually I dont even want to tell anyone about it except it is good to support the local native jewlery makers that have their little sidewalk stands in the parking lot and they are very friendly.
A very cheesy tourist trap with only a fair at best view of the Grand Canyon. The views from inside the park are much better
Great Native american crafts at a very reasonable price go here instead of the cameron trading post. Everything is made my local Navajo people.
We stopped. It said donation only. I told the staff I only had credit card, no cash. She said she only made 90$ by 12: 30pm, and could not let us in.
Donation only. Meaning you donate if you can. I told her thank you and drove out to the rest of the highway and we took in the views that way.
Great stop! Get a little taste of the Colorado river before entering the national park. Friendly merchants have beautiful jewelry and native pieces available.
