The worst medical experience i have ever had. I brought in my bearded dragon because he was acting lethargic and not quite himself. I took him to this place instead of his regular vet because they were able to get him in same day. I went in for my appointment at 1: 30. Called like 20 minutes later letting me know they were worried about lizard being lathargic and wanted to run a blood test, fecal and do radiographs. I agreed. They called a few moments later letting me know the radiographs usually take around an hour and gave me the option of going home or waiting in the area. I let the know it was a far drive and i would rather wait if thats fine. They said yes. Should be an hour. The vet calls me at 3 letting me know they are almost done. I dont hear anything for another hour so i call only to be told they hadnt even started yet and to come back at 5. I was so upset but wanted results so i came back at 5 called and they charged me 500 for everything done. I was also charged for a test they never ran. Then called me another 15 minutes later to tell me they forgot to charge me for another medication and had to charge me again and i didn't get my lizard back until 5: 30. They were not apologetic for making me wait or the miscommunications at all. They called later in the week wanting to run more tests on his skin for more money after his blood tests came back normal and his behavior improved. The suspected pneumonia. When i took him to his regular vet, i was told he looks 100% healthy.

I had an appointment scheduled. To check in, I was on hold for seven minutes then hung up on before they answered back. I called back three times to a busy signal. Then I called again. I didn’t mention anything. I was told a nurse will help me and I was put on hold before I could say anything. I was placed on hold for 11 minutes to check in. (Meanwhile it’s 104 degrees outside literally) I finally hung up after I was still on hold, almost hold and I don’t know.close to 15 minutes total? At the same time, a guy and his kids didn’t know about curbside, so they tried to go up to the door. Looked like he was trying to call them too and no one greeted them at the door or gave instruction. He and his kids left. No signage on the door either. The lady parked next to me was waiting also for about 15 minutes. Finally, an employee came out with medication to her car. And she left. Anyway, my cat was starting to meow and cry in the car and I could tell she felt uneasy. And yes I was very good at not being frustrated in front of her. I left. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone to cancel my appt.awful service and I will not be attempting to schedule again. So, Little Critters, I pulled into your lot at 10: 30 am for my 10: 40 am appt and it is not 11: 13am. I hope you see this so you know I cancel. Thanks for attempting to call me back.not.finally I called back told them what has happened and cancelled. I told them this was inappropriate and I cancel. They apologized and asked if I would like to reschedule. I said no way and hung up. They don’t care.
*UPDATE: 8: 31PM 8/3/2020 THIS BUSINESS’S RESPONSE TO MY POST IS A LIE. THEY NEVER TRIED TO REACH ME. AND NEVER APOLOGIZED. LIARS. I WOULD UPLOAD MY CALL LOG IF I COULD REPLY WITH PHOTOS. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM PRACTICE MANAGER TIME STAMPED AT 6: 17 PM TONIGHT, WHICH ALSO SHE SAID MY PET WAS A “HE, ” AND IT IS A FEMALE. SHE ALSO MADE IT SOUND LIKE MY FEMALE COMPANION, WHO SHE SAID IS A “HE” WAS SEEN. SHE WAS NOT EVEN SEEN. Careless.

Extremely disappointing experience!
This group is all about getting dollars for treatment plans that will lock you into an agreement even if you don't need the care until months from now. ($765.00)
We went in for vaccines and learned that our dog might be sick. The vet NEVER explained that he couldn't get vaccines but her tech wanted us to sign a treatment plan that included a change in his heart worm medication which isn't even warranted. And, nothing on this treatment plan was listed about the dog needing his vaccines in the future!
The TECHNICIAN tried to tell me that a t4 blood test meant that all four thyroid panels were being tested! (I TOLD HER, this is NOT SO! And, she argued with me. I regret not insisting at this point, on speaking with the inital veterinarian who examined our dog for clarification about the situation).
Our dog has been on Thyroid medication for 9 months now from an out of state vet. The number one test should have been a full Thyroid Panel. I should have insisted on this. But the tech argued the matter so l resisted! (l worked in a lab for 7 years. I do know that a t4 does not mean that all 4 thyroid panel tests are in the t4.) She said it is with dog's being tested for thyroid disease and how their office billing is written on a treatment plan. She was confident that a full thyroid panel would be done. (liar!)
Our dog was lethargic, sleeping alot with excessive thirst and urination. When a vet called from the group today, which we were just told yesterday was only a group of 2 veterinarians, this vet claimed that she was new and wanted to call me with the lab results right away because they had a concern that my dog's t4 level was high without him being on any thyroid meds! Thus, this tells me that the extensive notes l provided to the TECH with all my dog's pertinate information listed including thyroid medication, were over looked. I asked to have the owner veterinarian review the labs and the records and call me back as soon as possible.
She did not. When l called back to see if she had called, l was put on hold. After waiting a few minutes someone picked up the phone line to say, "we're so sorry we sent Sophie home without her collar on! " My dog's name is Wags! I wanted to vomit after that!
l decided that l had wasted a whole day stressed out and $325.00 yesterday, only to have to find another veterinarian. And, hopefully a more competant one with competant staff to help me give the very best care possible to my very best friend!
Fortunately, My vet in Michigan requested the labs earlier today from Little Critters. Tonight, my Michigan vet called me, she said to decrease his Thyroid medication and to find another veterinarian who has experience with older pets and chronic diseases.
Always listen to your gut about your pet. Your gut might tell you more than any vet will.

I think you did everything you could to make the experience a great one. Especially with everything going on with the virus and all.

We initially signed up for the “early care plan” seeing it at a good value at $375 if payed all upfront. It included all vaccinations and 4 visits along with microchip. A big issue for me was waiting time in the lobby prior to being called back to a room and wait time in the room before being seen. Another issue was we just received conflicting information between the two doctors especially pertaining to the dog food. Our final visit was unfortunately during the Covid-19 pandemic. I understand taking extra precautions at this time, however they sent a text message 2 days prior and called the day before confirming our appointment. At no time during either confirmation were we told that we would not be able to accompany our puppy or have a face to face with the doctor to address any questions or concerns we have had. We were instructed to wait in the car and someone would come to us. Being parked directly out from the door we were then called and informed that they had tried to make contact with us but could not find us in parking lot. After coming to us we were informed they would be taking her and we would not be having a face to face with the doctor. Again I can appreciate extra caution due to everything going on. However this should have been disclosed and we should have had the option to reschedule. We decided that we would address a few of our minor concerns via the vet tech that came out to get her expecting a response upon return and we would ask the rest at our next appointment. After our puppy was returned to us we were told that they were not able to trim her nails as we requested and had to return multiple times to answer the questions we had and even at that point answers were unclear. Overall it is not the worse experience however I feel there is a lot of miscommunication here.

I wouldn't take my furbabies anywhere else! The 3 "Cs". Comfortable. Caring. Compassionate.

Incredibly caring and helpful when we had to take our cat in to be put to sleep. The doctor assured us we were making the right choice and not just giving up on our cat. The only negative is how long the wait for everything was. Ended up being there for more than 3 hours, almost all of it waiting for staff. I'll be returning anyway for my other cats vet needs, the actual service was excellent

This is one of the best veterinary hospitals you can bring your animals to. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind.

Visited the clinic for the first time on 9/22/18. Great visit, very welcoming and attentive beginning with the front desk, to Hannah and then to the vet. Received a text on Sunday checking to see if everything was alright and how our cat, Bella was doing.
Recommended them to a couple of coworkers and also neighbors!

My ferret, TrashPanda aka TP, LOVED this new vet. For exotic animals there's not a lot of options in Arizona. But here versus Arizona Exotic Animal Hospital- this one wins HANDS DOWN. Better customer service. Better pricing. Better service with the VETERINARIAN. Better care for my animal by all the staff. The only thing lacking in comparison is availability, but even then, this vet clinic is worth the wait to me. And if you're curious, my baby had some tummy bruising and he's already improving)

First time here. Bad experience.
1. Impolite staff (the guy wearing green uniform). He was not patient at all with me and my ferret.
2. So expensive! I spent only 1/3 of the price and got much better services at another vet for my ferret.

Our first visit with Bella was 9/22. Hannah was great- explained everything, very friendly, etc. Dr Switzer was also great though we didn't spend as much time with her as we did Hannah. We received a text message on Sunday inquiring how Bella was doing. Great experience and have recommended to friends and coworkers.

The team at Little Critters was awesome. They took great care of my cat and she is feeling much better after her dental. The pre and post care left her feeling the best she could. All members of the staff were great and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this clinic.

The staff was great. We ended up losing our ferret but they were super knowledgeable about ferrets and his condition. They were very sensitive to our loss and even arranged the cremation for us. They made us a nice paw print keepsake and even sent us a card well after all was said and done.

Dr. Patt and her staff are probably the most caring and wonderful vet staff I've ever experienced. I have dealt with, and profoundly distrusted, many vets in the past that seemed to be nothing more than greedy money makers, but Dr. Patt has renewed my faith in vets everywhere. She has a genuine love of animals and a bed side manner that is beyond reproach. She saved the life one of my beautiful kitties and made an above and beyond effort to save my other one who was recently claimed by cancer. She and her staff were very sensitive and supportive to our grief and treated my precious little Peanut with respect and dignity until the end. If you were ever going to trust a vet with your furry babies, she's the one. I'm SO grateful I found Little Critters Vet Hospital, and I trust her and her staff implicitly with the health and well-being of the rest of my 4 legged kids.

And to those griping about wait times.not every patient that comes in can be dealt with in 30 minutes or less. When it comes to living things, human or animal, it takes time for medical professionals to thoroughly discuss situations, outcomes, options, expectations and costs. If it was YOUR pet, you'd want to know everything you needed to, regardless of who was in the waiting room complaining about when their appointment time was. Be grateful that there are people like Dr. Patt who care enough to take the time to be so caring and thorough!

Everyone there is so nice and they really cared about my pets health. We didn't have to wait in the waiting room very long and they answered all my questions with a smile. They were so helpful and I will definitely go back. Love this place!
