LL Flooring (Lumber Liquidators) reviews
15Well. I never got really excited about flooring.until.we arrived at LL Flooring! Holy cow, selection beyond description, and a staff that is top notch! Max is a gem! If you're in the fence, get off it, and get down there! You'll enjoy it! Excellent products as well!
Stopped in with some flooring questions, and got exactly the help that I needed. Thanks guys!
Paid for my flooring several weeks ago and scheduled my installation then. The installer was supposed to be here between 8 and 11. It's now 12. And he's a no show. Called and was told they would check and call me right back.
After waiting 15 minutes I called again. Was told the installer didn't get the word, was told he'd call me. After a few hours I called again. Was told he called me and left a message. I have no messages. I've done a lot of business with them but never had anything installed. Probably won't in the future either!
So far this has not been a positive experience. We were told they had a product in stock but then called us back after we ordered it, only to say it was not in stock; they made a mistake. So we ordered some stair treads and they came in except one was from a completely different pattern. Hoping they will make this right.
We had a difficult experience with the store manager David.the reason for the 4 star instead of the 5 star is due to him. To start, our product was delayed in getting to us. Then it was delivered and about half the 80+ boxes were damaged. We had Savanah, an associate who works there (who was great and very helpful) come out to see them. We sent several pictures of the boxes to David and the installer confirmed the boxes were damaged. David suggested we keep the damaged boxes and have the installers 'use what was not damaged for cuts and inside closets" inside the boxes. We asked him to replace approximately 20 damaged boxes, and he said he would do that IF WE PAID for them! After we had already prepaid for all the material and the installation. So apparently if you receive damaged materials you have to use what you can and then pay them again for anything that has to be replaced. But here's the catch 22: he told us to use what we could but if we wanted to have any of the damaged boxes replaced we couldn't open them. So apparently you need X-ray vision to look inside the box to see what is usable, because he said "corporate will have my head' if he sends out more boxes without pre-payment. In addition, he did not believe us, or his own employee that the boxes were damaged and he had to come see them himself. Fair enough I said come see them. He saw all the damaged boxes but repeated this catch 22 which was use whatever you can, but only unopended damaged boxes will be replaced.
In the end, our installer confirmed the damage and we received the additional boxes we needed and the installers used everything they could that wasn't damaged, but the amount of stress and headache this caused is unacceptable.
The silver lining was the installers were excellent. They were a group of guys who showed up when they said they would, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves every day. Their boss, OB was easy to work with and very responsive and we would recommend him highly to anyone in the Tucson area.
Go there and get the floor you want without any hassle and at a decent price for quality goods.
Lumber Liquidators has a large selection of laminate flooring products. The staff at the Tucson store are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
Great selection in store. Good value. Knowledgeable sales associates. I'm glad this store was recommended to me.
This is an awesome store! Savannah was awesome and we were in and out of the store in less than an hour. Purchased four rooms of flooring.
The ladies working we’re great! Very friendly. Fast which is what I liked and don’t let their beautiful smiles fool ya. They are strong! She made it look effortless carrying our baseboards from the warehouse. Thank you ladies it was a pleasure doing business with ya!
I still say you could make money selling your 3 step display case for pet owners (for little dogs to get up on the bed.) it is a perfect size….
Took 3+ months to get the flooring delivered. They originally told me 5 weeks! Flooring looks nice but it held up the entire remodel.
Shady contractor kept requiring more money for things he forgot to quote or mis-measured. Put me in a bind financially and put a major crunch on the timeline. LL was extremely resistant to reimbursing for the contractors mistakes. Wouldn't take full responsibility
Edit to respond to owner: My order number was #13289273, which I was told is "not real" but she magically found it once I gave her my information-I already cancelled the entire order. The issue was that I did select delivery (as indicated in my review), and after tracking the Tucson store down I was told that location does not offer delivery, but they could find another third party to deliver for another fee, outside of the 200$ fee they had no intention on giving back without me tracking them down. When I asked the lady on why they charge delivery for a service they don't have, she said "corporate". I asked if they were ever even going to tell me that they weren't going to deliver on time or at all, I got nothing. Took my business elsewhere.
Original Review: Scam. Placed a $4k online order on all products they had in stock. Selected delivery. They charged me for products and $200 for delivery. I had to track them down after a day of "full voicemail" calls. They don't actually have any delivery service at all but managed to charge me for delivery and had no intention on getting me my order or reaching out. Shady, do not use.
We prepaid for our entire flooring replacement and were excited for our remodel project to be completed. LL Floring AKA Lumber Liquidators completely blew it. They use unskilled sloppy installers that do not meet tile setting industry standards as set forth by ANSI and it is highly unlikely they have been formally trained by accredited professionals. Our concerns have been left unheard an nobody from either LL Flooring nor the sub contractors management has come out to see the botched job. We are out more than 6000.00 dollars and no recourse other than to wait. Avoid LL Flooring at all costs.
