Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic, Phoenix AZ

I try and take my cat outside of the house as little as possible because he gets so stressed out and screams nonstop. At Lookout Mountain vet I have never seen him so calm. He was definitely still stressed but not nearly as bad. They were very thorough and knowledgeable while looking at him as well and answered all of my questions.

Avoid. Dirty, loud, cramped, inept.

Called ahead to request a specific service. Got an estimate, booked the appointment.

Showed up for the appointment. The exam room hadn't been cleaned from the previous patient. I could hear everything coming through the walls. They were a half hour late, and told me they couldn't provide the service and I would need to book another appointment and come back later. They gave me a new estimate which was almost double the original. Then they charged me ~$100. I had to wait another half hour for them to get me the bill so I could pay and leave. While waiting to leave I overheard staff discussing how they almost mislabeled someone's medication.

Been bringing my three dogs here for their entire lives. My girls are 15,13, and 4 and have never been to a different vet, and never will. Dr Shore is AMAZING. So loving and caring and intelligent. Even my girls know he’s good. They know he makes them feel better

Second time here, this time for what I thought was an emergency. They got me in just a few hours after calling, and it turned out not to be as serious as I thought. My dog battles cancer, but this was just a sprained neck from Titan playing tug of war with pups. Thank God, but I was really worried. The staff is just great! They love on him and give him treats, and sincerely love pets. A loving environment is a better association than a scary, sterile doctors office, so he actually perked up when we got there. Our Doc is very patient and informative. Definitely 5 stars for this clinic and staff. Thanks, all!

My dog was hurt in a scuffle with another dog on a Monday night. We called Lookout Mountain Veterinary Clinic first thing Tuesday morning, and they got us in that afternoon.

Everyone at the office was super nice, kind, caring, and helpful. I knew my dog was in good hands there. Dr. Edens was absolutely fantastic. She was kind to my dog and did a thorough exam on her.

The office called me to check in on Wednesday. The lady on the phone took my concerns seriously and communicated them to the doctor. When my dog wasn't showing appreciate improvement, they had me bring her in again on Thursday for reevaluation. Dr. Edens changed medications, and my dog is improving rapidly.

I appreciate everyone on staff at this office. Their care and commitment to animals and their people is obvious.

Really didn't want to write a bad review but im very big on professionalism and customer service. I brought in the most adorable puppy who had been rescued less than a week ago. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and wanted to see my puppy, after which a worker (dark hair, with glasses young lady in turquoise) took my baby pup and proceeded to parade him around the clinic without ever returning my puppy back to me. At first, im like.okay its cute and all but now its getting annoying. I was even taken to a waiting room while my puppy was god knows where still being passed around. When she finally came into the waiting room with my pup, long after im sitting down filling out paperwork, the same young lady kept my puppy in her arms and the assistant in the room urged her to keep my puppy and they left the room again laughing and making a joke of it. Im not the one to jump at them and say something but they could see I was very uncomfortable.

The vet came in with my puppy and she was very friendly and nice. Then same young lady came back with my puppy still making jokes about stealing him in her back and telling her coworkers to empty their purse so she can put him in.

My family and I have been with LMVC since 1989/1990 and they have taken extremely good and thoughtful care of all of dogs and cats. I could not imagine going anywhere else with my fur babies. They stick with you through tough times and never give up when the diagnostic case is hard. I also appreciate their thoughtfulness when it comes to letting them go. They are truly like family to me. The staff Rocks too!

This places deserves more than 5 stars!

I called right when they opened about concerns regarding my dog Sky. The lady that answered heard my concerns and made sure to let the doctor know right away. I was given a call back about an hour and a half later and was told to come in as soon as possible. When brining Sky in everyone was so nice and helpful! The doctor came in right away and was super transparent about what she suggests (which is something you don't see very often with Vets). She explained everything in a very easy to understand way. When leaving Sky there to run further tests they made sure to call me and give updates throughout the day (Most vets wont call with updates and you have to call them). After picking up Sky everyone was super helpful with any questions and or concerns when going home. I will continue to bring my dogs here and refer everyone I know to this vet.

Here's a before-and-after photo of our dog. We took him to lookout mountain to get a total grooming. Wow what a big difference! They did an amazing job.

They are always so helpful and try to fit you in even when they are booked. Best vet in Phx.
