First time in Sedona and I wanted to visit a scenic spot. Really pretty view. Doesn't seem like you can hike from here. You're not too far into the mountains, I'm sure you can go further toward the buttes if you want. Road curves a little bit to get there; enter the parking area carefully so you don't scrape the bottom of your car if you don't have off-road wheels.
Exceptional photo location on the way to red rock crossing. Part of the larger Sedona Red Rock area.
Beautiful view of the Sedona mountains on top of this hill. Short walk up the hill. My toddlers, kids and teens didn't complain once about hiking up this tiny hill to see the view. We heard coyotes when we got to the top. Just beautiful. These pictures were taken during winter, Dec 29.
This is a great spot for sunset photos! I was there in morning unfortunately. Drop offs in parking area may catch underside of regular cars. Just pick your path carefully.
Beautiful views. Not very crowded when we went on a Friday evening. The drive here is very pretty as well!
Breath taking view, a must see. However I think I put a different name in the GPS to find it.
Awesome spot for getting a quick pic beautiful sedona, AZ never a moment that it has flaws it is natural beauty at its best and always there with a smile
Free, and devoid of people. Great views with just a little bit of a walk up a hill but no marked paths or anything. Not wheelchair accessible. They really need a good sign for where the spot is to pull off though, easy to miss.
The perfect spot to soak up the beauty of Sedona. Definitely worth stopping at. We visited Red Rocks State Park and stopped here on our way into Sedona so I highly recommend others do the same if they're headed in the same direction.
Nice spot to get out and take some photos. When the sun is going down the red colors of the rocks really comes out.
The gorgeous scenery breathtaking, just being here in Sedona Arizona was fabulously energizing! A great little getaway!
Great view. But if you're an Instagrammer/etc, stick with photos instead of making everyone else listen to you blather on in some video. Nature's serenity is only serene if you're not jabbering.
Amazing views. We found this spot on our last full day in Sedona and went back to it for the sunset and to see stars later at night. Definitely recommend going here for stargazing!
I loved the view. Cairns were accumulating there and it makes for a great spot to meditate.
