They have thrifty ice cream which I haven’t had for ages. It was just as delicious as I remembered. The shake was way better than Starbucks. The store is clean nice and the gentleman behind the counter is very friendly. Great liquor selection too.

Probably one of the cleanest, friendliest liquor stores in all of Tucson. They have thrifty ice cream inside the store where you can get old school ice cream cones or even ice cream by the gallon!

The owner is awesome. Brings in Thrifty Ice Cream because he knows it rules! Great service, buy from him when you can, good guy.

This place is a small mom and pop store. The very ground floor idea of America. I will always be in favor of supporting small business and here is a good place to continue that platform. Tons of choices in all kinds of beverages (adult and mixers and more), snacks, lottery, filtered water station and let's not forget the ice cream. Ask for a sample and they will not do you wrong. I encourage anyone who is anyone to shop here when in the neighborhood. Enjoy!

These prices were great. The ice cream is so creamy and taken care of. The owners are sweet and the customer service is unmatched. I forgot my wallet and they took Apple Pay. Stop by and visit.

Great customer service. I haven’t had thrifty ice cream since I moved to Arizona. It’s been about 7years. The excitement I felt when I found it at Lucky J Market was amazing. They have all the flavors you can even get scoops, pints, quarts and half gallons. Check them out and have one of the greatest ice creams out there.

This.liquor store.sells. ICE. CREAM. CONES. They do the whole slab creamery thing with the ice cream when they're putting it in cones. Now they haven't been the most accommodating in the past but i believe as frozen dairy aficionados they've ascended beyond the reach of my petty finger wagging. Just buy the stuff, eat it, and be grateful they had the foresight to set up a dang ice cream counter in the neighborhood!
