Lumberyard Brewing Co reviews
19This was my go-to spot anytime I were passing through Flagstaff but since they banned dogs from their patio, I will certainly take my business elsewhere. Disappointing since Flag has a lot of dog owners.
Flagstaff is a great college town and the Lumberyard seems like the perfect place to come during a visit.
Our server was great, the food hit the spot and the sud choices were ample.
The beer and burgers were so delicious! Juicy as can be and done to perfection! Our waitress was wonderful!
Had a nice filling lunch here, helpful staff with recommendations. Options for vegetarians as well.
These are not very taste burgers Diablo‘s burgers is way better in my opinion and true fresh looking meat. These are cheap patties. In addition I ask for blue cheese with my burger not on the side with regular cheese on my burger. I’m just visiting. Then when I told the waiter youngster didn’t care at all. I would recommend going somewhere else for good food and service.
The food was very good, with a large selection. We had Bavarian pretzels, mac n cheese balls, spring rolls, Brussel sprouts, and nachos. The drinks were interesting with their Yard Jars, but overpriced and under liquored.
Awesome food with great vegetarian options, and Rebecca is an AMAZING server!:) Hope to stop in during our next trip to Flagstaff.
Staff is always friendly. This time we came with our two year old and a baby. They were very accommodating and attentive to put my son's order in first while we decided on what we wanted.
There were cockroaches where we sat and the food was not good I brought my parents here and they were disgusted
I gave just one star for no pups allowed on the patio but the Mac was meh (mostly Velveeta and flavorless even with the under cooked bacon), we didn’t get the sauce for our wings (great going expo), so overall missed the mark. The cost of the meals does not reflex the taste.
Always an excellent dining experience here. I've had about a quarter of the menu items and all are very satisfying. Lumberyard always offers a fine variety of beers and ales as well. Plenty of seating and parking, including a large outdoor patio.
Be aware that if you visit this establishment, there is a good chance that you will for no legitimate reason, rudely be asked to leave out of nowhere.
My wife and I brought a newlywed couple here for a drink and meal before they were to leave town. The groom and I were standing at the bar for maybe 5 mins after just walking in, when the so-called manager, who identified herself as Kylie, came to the bar and asked us to leave. I literally thought she was joking, and after realizing she wasn't, I asked for what reason. She told me that a customer complained that we were harassing them. This was beyond false as we were literally there for 5 mins, never even go to place an order! I asked who claimed that we were harassing them to which she obviously wouldnt/couldn't point out and when I asked for contact information for management other than her, she called the police!
Even better, the police came and investigated the situation and there feedback was: " I spoke with the "manager" and it appears that you guys may been confused with another group and the business unfortunately handled this extremely unprofessionally. They still have the right to refuse service to anyone and unfortunately we need to make sure that you guys leave".
Look at the attached picture and you will see that this extremely poor management has been doing this for what appears to be years if you look through the reviews. There are more. It was a sad ending to a beautiful weekend for the newlyweds and completely unacceptable. I will make sure that this b.s is communicated all the way to top. Full Karen mode
I am giving this a 4 star only because they didn't allow dogs outside. If it wasn't for that it would be a 5 star review hands down. This place was awesome. Food was delicious, our server was amazing, and the beer was yummy!
Been here multiple times, good atmosphere for hanging out with friends or taking the family out for dinner. Not overpriced, good food, great beer. I've had multiple servers over the years and every time they've been great, definitely a spot worth checking out.
Bone in wings were too good. But, the boneless wings were bad. Drinks were ok. The hot buffalo sauce is mind blowing if you like spicy flavor.
The food was good. Ribs were on point. Strawberry lemonade was super fresh. I ordered the buffalo blue cheese Mac and cheese. It was was good. I wasn’t blown away by the food so I rated 4 stars. However, our server Jessica was phenomenal. She gave excellent customer service. Five stars rated for my service with my server.
Great food choices. Drinks didnt disappoint and the place was busy. Recommend the patio on a good weather day.
So yummy! Love the Mac n cheese balls and Brussel sprouts. Great burgers and watermelon Mason jar drinks.
Excellent beer, nice building, decor. For food, eventually had chicken wings, food was so-so, not bad but not great. Wings don’t have sauce, which comes in small containers on the side, and there is not enough to cover all the wings. Would not order these again.
Had a problem with service initially, was seated by hostess, and multiple waiters and servers kept walking by but nobody waited on us. Finally the hostess saw us just sitting there, and came and took our beer order and told us our waiter would be by shortly. Sat there for another: 10 minutes or so, again none of the waiters working in the area bothered to give us a glance as they walked back and forth. Finally had to go to the front desk and ask if we needed to be reseated in an area where we could get service. Problem was finally solved when a new waiter who just came on shift showed up, and no issues after that.
As result, probably would not recommend this establishment because of the food quality and very poor service. On the other hand the beer was excellent…but probably not enough to go back.
