Lupita's Mexican Restaurant, El Mirage AZ

Wow! Excellent food! All our orders for our table were prepared deliciously and had good portions!

This is probably my first review on a restaurant, so it had to be awesome! Please take the time to read it's worth it!

I ordered one of the three Monday - Friday specials:
2 Cheese Enchiladas w/ rice & beans ($9.99) plus a Beef Shredded Taco on the side.

My cousin ordered the same, and my father had the Chili Verde Dinner.

The Cheese Enchiladas were served hot with perfectly prepared red sauce. The tortillas inside the Enchiladas were prepared perfectly, and lots of yummy melted cheese. All balanced nicely in flavor!

The beans were served creamy & and delicious. The Rice was done nicely. Seasoned well and moist!

My Taco. This is my favorite taco now! It's been a long time since I had a taco this good! I'd even say it was perfect! The shell was fried perfectly, not burnt or too hard, and not greasy! The shredded beef was moist and nicely seasoned. The lettuce was crispy & fresh. The tomatoes were fresh, and the cheese was portioned nicely.

My fathers meal: Chili Verde Dinner
The first comment my father made upon receiving his dish was, "Look, they actually gave me Chili Verde. Usually, it's 1/3 the plate (of Chili Verde), and the rest is the rice and beans. "
For my father to actually be happy about his meal is amazing, as he is extremely picky.

Martha, our server was friendly and sweet. She always had a smile for us. When I was ordering, I got a tad confused on the combo plates. She helped me get the food items I wanted and made sure I took advantage of the special.

The Chef was Aracely, and before we left, I made sure she knew how delicious her food was.

I just had to tell her, "Honestly, I haven't eaten such a delicious meal in a very long time! It was so good! Thank you! ".

I grew up with Mexican food so for me to have such a perfecto plate, it had to be perfecto!

I hope to return soon with my family!

This place is the best. We have eaten here for almost 20 years now. Great food and great people!

Family gathering after the game. Good is always delicious here with plentiful amounts and a varied menu. Service is friendly and efficient. Good place to bring the kids & grandkids.

Seriously great food! The staff are super nice and the portions are huge. The birria burrito is super good and I'd highly recommend it.

From the time we walked in Lupitas, we were warmly greeted, and they were nice throughout our visit. The chips were brought warm with 2 kinds of salsa. Hubbs tried the Carne asada burro. I had fry bread with chicken - it had beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese! The chicken was really flavorful and the bread was really light and good. We recommend trying the fry bread for sure - so good! Great friendly place! Stop by and enjoy Lupita's food!

Went for the first time today and not impressed at all. We sat down and waited about 10-15 minutes for someone to take a drink order, margaritas were super strong. After sitting there for 1 hour, with no other acknowledgment after placing our food order, we got up to leave. Asked how much for the 2 margaritas, no questions were even asked as to why we were leaving, and no offer to discount the drinks, no sorry, no nothing! Will never go back! Only gave 1 star because it's the only way to post this, they don't deserve any stars in my book!

The food was amazing and the pricing was great. My fiance and I will definitely be back again.

On my first visit I walked in the door and was immediately welcomed warmly by a man named Abraham as if I’d been a patron for years. I placed a to go order and engaged in pleasant banter while my food was quickly prepared fresh for me to take home and enjoy. He welcomed me to the neighborhood with the most delicious food and invited me to return with the family, which I plan on doing very soon! The meal was absolutely amazing and I only imagine it’s even better eating in the restaurant. This place came highly recommended to me from a friend and I am now highly recommending them to anyone that happens to be in the area (and beyond because, frankly, it’s worth the drive). I hope everyone gets to enjoy a meal and pleasant exchange at this amazing hidden gem of El Mirage.

Great menu. Good food. Not many vegetarian options but the food is good and the service great and I'll keep going back. Nice family owned restaurant.

It''s my Favorite. I DEVOUR there salsa and chips! I loved them since before it was Lupita's. (The Fondita days)! I always always get the #11 Red Beef Chimichanga dinner plate!

I Love this place! Their homemade chips and salsa is always fresh! The Indian Fry Bread & Red Chili Indian Fry Bread is MY favorite. But my husband loves the chili rellenos and enchiladas.

Food and service were excellent! Everything taste fresh. Chips were served warm and the salsa isn't too spicy so our kid could enjoy it too.
We had the Mexican pizza with shredded beef, crispy and delicious. Chili relleno plate and 2 taco plate. Everyone enjoyed their meals and husband especially liked the rice and beans. We'll be back to support this family business.

We enjoyed our lunch very much. Great Food, Great Service, anything with their red enchilada sauce Highly Recommed!

Find this little gem almost by accident.
We were greeted and sat quickly then services hot fresh chips and amazing salsa! The shrimp and avocado salad was very fresh and hubby liked his taco meal. I enjoyed his beans and rice also.
Reasonably priced, good food and attentive staff.
Will definitely be back.

Went with some friends we all ordered something different and all dishes were beyond amazing. The salsa was addicting! Definitely come here if you want some authentic Mexican food

Absolutely love Lupita's! Found them quite by accident and now it's our favorite place to take the family out to.

The staff is always super friendly and do a fantastic job of making you feel welcomed and comfortable during your visit. I've never felt rushed or made to feel like I'm a bother.
A true gem in the El Mirage area.

My family and I love Lupitas Mexican Restaurant. We have been enjoying their food since before they were located in the back of the commercial center across the El mirage elementary. We used to love the food the family served when they were "The/ La Fondita". So many years later, this establishment provides fresh and exquisite Mexican cuisine. I love this restaurant and hope they stay around for as long as possible.

Really high quality food and very authentic. This place is clean and friendly. Prices are to reasonably good.
