They want to have my mom go to hospital last minute.require lab work that we showed up for and order was never received. Ask them to resend and refuse (want my blind mother who is unable to drive to go pick them up) seriously. So we have to cancel the appointment because we can’t physically go pick up the orders because they refuse to resend them. The front office girls responded with sure thing. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

He saves both my husband's and my lives. He is very well aware of what his patients need, and his staff is very good. Very concerned very caring

Was scheduled for stress test and echo then they call saying they had to reschedule because my insurance didn’t approve the echo or the trust test yet I called my insurance company they said the doctors office never submitted the information then yesterday they tell me OK that they did a peer to peer with the insurance company and it was approved and an hour later they called me back to tell me their machine was broke again so the machine for the stress test is twice within a two week period and they keep wanting to skip rescheduled me for the same date they just got their machine fixed last week and it broke again so maybe the machine isn’t even making the right accurate test results for anybody and in my opinion, if the machine is broke and I’m scheduled, anybody else who is scheduled that we shouldn’t be put off the people that are scheduled, they should have theirs rescheduled at all of us at the front of the line should be scheduled first, but who’s to say when they reschedule you if their machines gonna be working on that day in my opinion, they’re just overwhelmed. The girls don’t know how to schedule right they over schedule people that or somethings wrong with their tech to be able to tell with the machine is broke because of the machine was broke then they should’ve known that when they called me and told me that a peer to peer approved for the stress test but not the echo

Great, great Doctor, Dr. Awar is the top! Unfortunately he has the Worst staff, rude and unprofessional! Should you want you phone call answered or returned good luck. I called a lot times at ALL extensions getting a voicemail every time and never never call back, left five different voicemails without any of them returned, not one.one time call they hear ring voice but won't care to pick up phone just talking about food and shopping, and tell us put the Mask on but they won't do that. I hated to do as we just love Dr. Awar but they acted as if it was no big deal, so sad with Doctor Awar but had no choice for doctor.

My 93 year old mother made a appointment for today and when she got there the staff would not see her because she didn't have a VA approval. She offered up other insurance and even offered to pay cash. They would not even listen to her. She made it to the VA clinic where she collapsed. Thanks to the VA they swarmed over her got her stable and into an ambulance and over to the hospital. I would not tell anyone to go to this doctor. I feel he doesn't care about his patients.

Doctor Awar seems thorough in determining his diagnosis and communicates well to any questions we’ve had. We felt comfortable with him and are confident that he will help my husband strengthen his heart as quickly as possible in the least invasive way.

Had two stress tests and a echocardiogram schedualed back to back to back, showed up for the echo to be told they had no such test scheduled. I am disabled and they said they could reschedule another time snd I told them do not bother will find another Doctor which I hated to do as we just love Dr. Awar but they acted as if it was no big deal, I did and the staff at the new cardiologist has been so great, breath of fresh air what a difference!

I started to see Dr Awar after my cardiologist passed away. He is very direct, thorough and professional. His staff is absolutely amazing. It is a relief to have found this medical group. Pam Yeager

Dr. Awar is competent, thorough, and a good listener. When we visited him the first time, he had read and understood my husband's cardiac history and asked questions to better understand our concerns. Dr. Al-Ammodi has worked with us on several procedures. He is capable and competent as well as compassionate. I recommend Young Hearts of Yuma and their staff without hesitation.

Doctor is a great. He gets to the point let's you know in detail how and what is going on and finds a way to fix you.

My echo cardiogram technician is having car troubles and missed my appointment two years in a row! They make you sign an agreement that you will pay $50 if you miss an appointment; they owe me $100! Wait time to see the doctor is between 40 and 60 minutes. The staff is mostly friendly and professional. I’m looking for a new provider, any recommendations? Thank you in advance!
