Macayo's Mexican Food reviews
19Get the mini chimis with baja sauce, SO good, I could drink that sauce. Service is always great, we got a table so quickly and the food is delicious
Appetizers were delivered at room temperature entree's were hot but chicken was tough and the service was pretty slow. Might give them another try
Waited about 15 minutes for a table. Had a wild berry margarita and it is delicious! My food wasn't great, but the experience itself was good. 5 of us, everyone else really enjoyed their food. Also the 4 for $10 margaritas, all 4 were so good!
Didn't catch their name, but they provided amazing service.checked in often to make sure all was good (which is was! Nom nom). SO personable and ALSO very patient with my kiddo forgetting his table manners. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner)
As good as always! Food was very good. Our waiter was hard to understand unless you speak or understand Spanish. He was very nice
I really hope the owners/Store Manager will read this review.
We came here on Halloween night because NO one else was open past 9 p.m. (Our regular mexican food restaurant has been dissapointing and closed early that night).
We sat in the Cantina and had a bit of a wait for a waiter, but once they took our orders, everything was Sooo good! I had a combo entree and he had the tamale platter. Great food, nice decorations and reasonable prices. We have been back twice (on Sunday nights) and plan to eat here again.
Good food the associate she was very cain very helpful and all sing my happy birthday to me thank you for Good services
Great atmosphere.great service, and great food! Whats not to like? Try to margarita flight!
Moved from the valley 8 years ago so haven't had it since then and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing and came from the kitchen very quickly, service was amazing and very prompt. Highly recommend this location
My daughter loves this place, I’d like more of a beer selection but still a solid place to eat.
We've tried the guac and cips, tamale fried balla (its sweet tamale) steak fajitas, their red corn rolled taquitos, Chile relleno and flautas which were delicious.
Today we did carne asada fries to share which were crunchy and delicious. I had chicken fajitas, which comes beans, guacamole, sour cream, 3 tortillas, and pico. Hubby had the green Chile pork stew chimichanga which according him is "the Best! ". Kids had chicken strips with fries and macn cheese with fruit.everything was delicious, came out in a timely manner and our waiter was friendly and just awsome. Definitely my favorite out of the chain Mexican food restaurants.
The service today was pretty bad. I don’t like to review anywhere because I just don’t go back. But we always come here and it’s always great. We felt isolated and not wanted
An Arizona Mexican food staple. Environment is clean, service is friendly and efficient, food is good. Went there for Taco Tuesday, enjoyed the food and the environment Food is reasonably spicy; those looking for very spicy won't find it here. Come and enjoy the environment and good service!
Excellent my favorite Mexican food restaurant of the whole Valley! Cute inside great food and good service
Waitress was quite hard to understand, service was fast and simple. A lil bit of a wait but overall was Great!
Disappointing. Staff was good though. All of our food was lackluster. I ordered chicken and carnitas enchiladas. I got chicken and beef. The beef tasted frozen then boiled in grease. Oh the grease! You could fill a cup with the grease on 1 plate. For 14.99 it felt as if corners were cut to only cost them $2. The guacamole was so salty and oniony. Also the Dr pepper was flat. The hottest salsa they had was mild at best.
Walked in at 9: 25 PM, no one at the hostess area. After a few minutes a woman cleaning a table in the empty dining room saw me but continued her duties. A few minutes later with no sign that anyone was going to help me, I left. The hours on the door said open until 10 PM.
Delicious Mexican cuisine and great service! Try their chimichanga with their creamy jalapeño sauce! However, their margaritas need some work.pretty mediocre. Otherwise, a great inexpensive Mexican food stop
