Macayo's Mexican Food, Mesa AZ

The tamale was okay. Kinda needed more meat. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The water there is amazing. I know weird. Overall good place that's near.

They have great deals on their email club. I like the carnitas dinner - hefty serving good enough for two $15.99

The food was delicious here. From the chips and salsas to the meals, all delicious. The young girl serving could've and should've been a bit friendlier though.

Everytime we go here it’s been great, service, food, only problem is the music is to loud. Very difficult to hear anyone at our table. Everyone at other tables are talking to loud for the same reason!

We ate on Sat night night. Food was good, I had the veggie fajitas. All food was on time and hot. Marinna was our server. SHE WAS MORE THAN AWESOME! We talked football, soccer, and politics. She is gonna be a great member of our society for years to come. She really made our visit a great one!

The food was fresh. Service was good, not great compared to Chillis. She may of been having a bad day like we all do. I'll try it again. They do put chips and hot sauce on the table.

Felipe was our server today. We are very complicated with our order and he was very patient with us. My Tea was never empty and he checked on us:) thank you Felipe!
And I strongly recommend the green chili!

Our server was amazing. We kept Felipe running the entire time, we were there. We had a party of 20, with 11 kids under the age of 11. They prepared a table right away, everyone’s order was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for better service. This is great place with great food. Thank you for the great service.

Food was excellent. Was pretty busy but our waiter was very good. Good value for the amount of food that you get. We will definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere without feeling kitschy. Service was quick and very attentive. Prices are reasonable as well.

Second visit to this location. Both have been met with good food and great service. Being an Arizona native, I get a little fussy about Mexican food. So far this place is a win.

The food and service is always amazing! The manager April is so nice and helpful to staff and customers.

While having a beer at the bar, I noticed a server or bartender using the thing a server or bartender stab there receipts to open a syrup that she used this object to open it. The other bartender told me it because "she has nails". Also the service seemed slow and not really paying attention the bar customers. Don't get me wrong, the food is still good.

The service was good. Food ok, I like margaritas a lot theirs was nothing special for the price. Again the service was superb.

Food and service is usually pretty good. However, the last two times we have visited, the experience was disappointing. The staff were friendly, but service was slow. They appeared to be understaffed. We were seated in the bar both times (usually we sit in the main dining area). The bartender appeared to be making drinks and waiting on 50% of the people in the bar area. The chips and salsa (usually good), but they were stuck together and oil soaked. It was likely that the oil wasn’t hot enough when they were cooked. The rest of the food was good. Gave this 3 stars because we have been here previously with no issues. Hoping things get turned around.

We did a family outing and sat outside. Food was as expected but everything had a little heat to it which a couple in my party didn't like. The waiter was friendly, but sometimes he didn't hear us when we tried to get his attention. The atmosphere was great. Overall, it was a good experience with good food.

We come here a lot but today was probably the best server we’ve had, we heard he was in training but Marcus was hands down the best server we’ve had, great with customers! Thanks Marcus!

We went here the night before Thanksgiving with a party of 9. The food was so good. The food coming out was a bit slow but over all everyone loved it. We sat out on the patio and it was all lite up with lights. It was a great experience and will go again.
