10Do not use thus place Horrible service fauls pricing they tell you one price then its a diffrent price ontop of that they over charge u for every little thing wish the service woukd go back like it was years ago
They couldn't manufacture me a 7mm bolt, when a harbor freight die set comes with a 7mm tool for only 50 bucks. If you have anything slightly strange chances are they cannot help. At least they were polite.
Took my Volvo 5 cyl head to get cleaned up and resurfaced. Trevor was super attentive and gave me frequent updates on progress, even ordered valve stem seals for me because I forgot haha. Overall fantastic experience!
All the people at machine works are very helpful and understanding unfortunately our motor is trashed and we're trying to find another one for our backhoe so expensive Hope We can find another motor and it won't cost us an arm and leg
Built my 454 for me and was great until Gary's towing dropped my truck off tow truck and didnt say anything and family auto body hid damage and burned all exaust valve in it. It was great until then.
Knowledgeable staff owner heavily involved in the day to day operation helped me figure out what I needed then got me what I needed
My first and last time using this place. I dropped my block off was assured it would be done within a week. I had the deck blocked, it was supposed to be zero piston to deck clearance. It took them two weeks, which is twice as long as they said, and the clearance was. 018", so if work that far out of tolerance is good enough for you well then use this place, I will not again.
Called to have a flywheel reserficed, he said he had one in front of me. Brought it down and dropped it off and before I left he knocked on my window and said if I wanted to wait he could get it done in30 minutes. I have a job where I don't usually know when I get off work and he accommodated me by getting it done while I was there, gave me a tour of his shop while I waited, Was very impressed with his shop and the service he provided. Flywheel was perfect. I will definitely recommend machineworks and will be using them in the future for other projects. Thanks guys!
Machine work completed quicker then estimated. The tech Kevin is very knowledgeable and customer oriented.
