Their reviews of heat pumps have been very useful to me in understanding the different products out there and the pros and cons.

I used magic touch for a fireplace diagnostic/repair. I don’t normally take the time to post reviews but the whole experience of working with them, from making an appointment to the service received at the appointment, was fantastic. Everything was easy for me, which is how it should be but so many times is not. They were professional and courteous. They communicated clearly and took their time to answer my questions. 10/10 would use again!

Update 10/2023: We ended up using Magic Touch to move and replace our HVAC system and I still have nothing but good things to say. After install, we had some weird issues with the new system not always kicking on when expected. Magic Touch came out a few times and finally figured out it was a setting on our thermostat (that I messed up, not them). They weren’t salty about coming out and they were very gracious about the extra service. Magic Touch are real professionals. 11/10!

I have used Magic Touch on a number of occasions to service my gas fireplaces. They are always available, professional, efficient, and personable. I highly recommend them!

So, a few weeks back my 10-year-old Lennox 5-ton A/C decided to act up. Now when I bought my house this unit was supposed to have been 1 year old and the previous owner claimed to have installed it himself as he used to be an A/C technician. My home inspection showed it wasn't installed correctly and I had Magic Touch Come out and inspect the install. They suggested a couple of things be corrected, but said it was "ok". Not the way they would have installed it, but "ok". Well, I had problems with this A/C unit once or twice a year every year since I bought the house. This last time it had leaked refrigerant and the TXV valve needed replacing. That was not going to be a cheap fix and still would not tell me for sure where the leak was coming from (they replaced the valves, but that was just a maybe) and testing the system to find the leak is also not a cheap task. With the possibility of having to spend a bunch to find out I needed to spend a bunch more and wanting to have a reliable unit I decided to purchase new instead of repair.
Burt, one of their most experienced salesmen came over to the house and discussed options. I decided on a Gree heat pump unit.
Magic Touch had their technicians scheduled and at my house 5 days later. Not only did they arrive on time as scheduled, but all the technicians and the Install manager were extremely polite, kept everything clean, worked with minimal interruption on my part (even brought a portable unit for my office to use while they were doing the install) and got everything done in a timely manner. Rick went over everything with me, even the APS rebate and the tax credit. I couldn’t be happier with the installation team!
It has been running for a couple of weeks now. It is so much quieter than the Lennox system I had before. I have to go outside to hear it at all, which is really nice. My new Gree unit also cools my house a LOT faster than the old unit did. And now for the first time since I bought my house, I don't have a concern regarding my A/C any longer. Way overpriced for a repair on AC Unit. $350 for the 1st lb of refrigerant is rediculous. Will not use them again.

While working on the maintenance of my AC unit, Dave Pascali discovered a gas leak. He acted quickly by shutting off the gas and discussing repair options with me. Of course, I agreed with next steps to have it repaired and was really grateful he uncovered this issue. Dave was professional, knowledgeable and friendly and I would definitely recommend Magic Touch Mechanical for any HVAC issues.

7/31/23 Do yourself a favor and call another company.
Replaced our AC in 2012 Lennox, and have had troubles every year despite having yearly ‘tune ups’.
Again our AC went out within a week of ‘tune up’. Of course it would be over a week before they could come out. We called another company.
Short story, they found years of rust and damage due to years of leaking Freon - keep in mind we just had an inspection and we’re ‘good to go’. Now we are facing $20,000 damage and a new unit. Called to speak with manager and no call back- will keep trying!

This company manager is nuts - I never berated you for calling me back- tell the truth for once! You were yelling at me for over 30 minutes and yes I hung up on you.

Dalton was one of the best service technicians I have worked with. He explained every detail of what his steps were to troubleshoot the system. Once the issue was found, he showed me the broken part and the test results. I highly recommend Magic Touch and Dalton.

We recently had Technician Dalton Carpenter out for our semi-annual maintenance check. He thoroughly explained the manufacturer's defect we encountered earlier this year on our system. He is VERY knowledgeable and performed an extensive check-up. We will ask for him by name for all future maintenance checks.

Magic Touch sent Dalton Carpenter to my home to trouble shoot why my downstairs air conditioner unit was failing. Within an hour Dalton found the problem and fixed it. Dalton was intelligent, professional and respectful. He taught me how to keep my air conditioning units running efficiently. Thank you Dalton.

I would NOT recommend Magic Touch Mechanical (942 W 1st Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210) for any of your AC/Heating needs.
I bought a Bosch AC/Heating Unit from Magic Touch Mechanical in early 2021 and it included 4 visits of regular maintenance calls. After 9 Months I realized no one had called to schedule these visits. I called and found out I needed to call them, which I did, and the last one was 6/1/2023. At that point, I purchased an annual agreement for $408. Five weeks later (6/11/2023) my unit was not cooling properly; I called and was told it would take two days to get someone out. The technician came out and I was charged $404.97 to add 2 pounds of freon. Also, I asked about the surge protector (that the previous tech said needed to be replaced for over $400) and this technician said it did not need to be replaced. On 8/17/2023 the thermostat failed and the AC was not working at all. I called and was told they could have someone out 5 days later on Tuesday 8/22/2023. I explained that the unit was completely down and it was 111 degrees outside, and that waiting 5 days was unacceptable. I then called a different vendor and they sent someone out that same day to fix it. I requested a refund of my annual agreement from Magic Touch and a week later they refunded me $250, saying I saved $158 from the service call on 6/11/2023. Again, their customer service is horrible and I would never recommend this company.

Dave went above and beyond when he did not charge me for a part of the service he performed. He did a thorough job. Highly recommend!

He won't admit it, but I know for sure he did a little more than he was supposed to help keep a fan that is gunked up in use until such time as it can be replaced properly - which I'll have Magic Touch take care of as soon as I can. He did the rest of the work he was here for as well, but I bet he put a little extra in for us and it sure is appreciated.

Not my first time using Magic Touch, definitely won't be the last.

Prompt, professional a great company. I looked and looked for a company that stands by their work. I needed a whole new ac unit they found a way to fix my old one until the new one came in and was replaced. They do phenomenal work.

Magic Touch is a super dependable and honest company. They are extremely attentive and fast acting when I needed an ac issue assessed. I have known this company for years now and the owner is just a great guy! Highly recommend!

We had an issue with condensation leaking inside the attic area. Magic Touch corrected the problem with complete honesty! The issue was simply that the pipe was not dripping into the pan. He adjusted it and then added a moisture sensor to prevent it ever causing the $$$$ of damage we encountered again! Highly recommend!

I am very pleased getting the repair of my AC unit. Jason is the very skilled technician who discovered the tricky electronic puzzle that was causing errors to alter the system’s ability.
