Main Street Bistro, Bisbee AZ

It seems like every restaurant does a “bowl” these days. It’s a safe thing to order, and usually immediately forgettable. Main Street Bistro is in another league entirely. I ordered the tofu, quinoa and seasonal veg bowl, thinking safe, ordinary. I took one taste and then had to keep tasting it, bite after bite to see if I was imagining how good it was. I wasn’t imagining it. It was the best plate of tofu, quinoa and veg I’ve ever had, and boy, have I had a few. This was a meal that I will remember the rest of my life. If I could have this bowl every day, I would never miss non-vegan anything ever again. Sorry this is so long-winded, but damn. You guys really know what you’re doing, and thank you!

So good! I had the chicken quinoa protein bowl with seasonal veggies. It was fantastic. Organic, fresh, yummy!

Excellent restaurant with plenty of vegan options! The tofu banh mi and tofu pesto panini were delicious, and we had the chocolate ice cream and prickly pear cheesecake for dessert. Especially loved the texture and taste of the cashew-based cheesecake. We’ll be back for sure the next time we’re in town! Looking forward to trying the blueberry spirulina ice cream next. The service was wonderful, such a well-run restaurant. We really appreciated the freshness of the food and the focus on sustainability.

This is my favorite place to eat in all of Bisbee the food is organic and fresh. The owner is amazing grows his own food. You have to come to the bistro and he’s starting to serve mahi-mahi and steaks soon.

This is hands-down, the best restaurant in Bisbee. Mike grows his own vegetables. His food is super delicious! He even came out to the garden back patio to show us the beautiful pear he was going to put into our kale salad. The pear was grown here in Bisbee! Mike even gave us a cup of his unusual, yellow, round, organic pickled cucumbers, because we were interested in what they were. What an amazing place!

Well first of all and of primary importance to me, the cauliflower wings were truly as good as any wings I have ever had. Texture, flavor (habanero and mango!) and succulence so good and enjoyable, (it didn't hurt that nutritionally there was more fiber and phytonutrients than chicken would have given, and modern cauliflower production methods are probably better for the environment than modern chicken raising methods, just saying). The service was attentive and generous. The atmosphere was dominated by the outdoor 'garden' seating area which I have enjoyed and enthusiastically observed for several seasons, (besides providing me with a couple of freshly harvested lemon cucumbers for free this particular evening). So, I at least, was auspiciously and singularly provided for as a customer.

CMe in for a quick vegan ice cream and did not disappoint. The blueberry ice cream made with coconut and cashew was ridiculously tasty. Service was quick and friendly, and I really loved the fly at the door lol.

*Amazing* vegan bowl and kale salad! We also tried the vegan cheesecake, vegan ice cream, and vegan ice cream sandwich. They were all fantastic! In fact, the food and the outdoor garden area were so outstanding that we went back two days in a row! Also, the chef came out to the garden and showed us the delicious fresh kale he was clipping for our salad! Truly local and truly superb cuisine!

Micheal the owner is not only impressive with his menu but his personality is one that will draw us back. Good service is not always easy to find these days and he went over the top.

We had the Wednesday special "Chicken Marinara Panini" and it was outstanding but what really blew me away was the Matcha Tea. I've never had it so well presented and tasty! Makes me want to go back today.

We sat on the patio surrounded by enjoyable views, homegrown vegetables and plants, and cool misters.
My friend had a desert to go and she loved it.

Penne Pesto and Ginger Hibiscus lemonade on the patio, surrounded by the herbs and veggies used in the kitchen. The pesto was better than any I've ever had, with nuts and veggies mixed in for both flavor and texture. And of course, the penne was perfectly al dente. Absolutely amazing.

The food was delicious and the covered patio was a great place to slow down and have lunch.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! I absolutely LOVE the food! My new favorite restaurant in Bisbee! AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

The to-go box is biodegradable and goes into my compost.

Friendly, personable owners with high quality food. I ordered the penne pesto pasta and loved it! Al dente pasta with great pesto and tofu. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu with gluten-free substitutes. This will be our new go-to restaurant anytime we’re in Bisbee!

The moment I walked through the door a guest recommended that I get the pesto pasta. Say no more. I absolutely love pesto pasta, so it did not take anything more to convince me. The only downside? I will never ever appreciate another pesto pasta in the same way I expected it to be a simple dish and it absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. The quality and flavor in the ingredients was like nothing I had ever had. I am not joking. This would be a $35 pasta dish in Phoenix at the boujiest spot imaginable. The gentleman working there was an absolute dream human being- so kind and welcoming, and so sweet and willing to share some of his tips and tricks in creating the dish. I cannot wait to go back! 10/10 recommend this spot to everyone!

Fresh and flavorful! I had the tofu protein bowl and the strawberry cheesecake. Yum! Tofu was cooked perfectly and the vegan strawberry cheesecake hit the spot. Looking forward to trying other cheesecake flavors in the future.
