Not a DOCTOR he is a LOBBYIST for the insurance company and only cares about how much the insurance company pays him to make false reports. This LOBBYIST is a sorry excuse for a Human being.

Do NOT trust him at all he may try to be nice to you in your appointment do NOT tell him any personal information and talk to your attorney before talking with him.

There is nothing independent about this exam the insurance company keeps hiring him to deny people claims that are actually injured.

Prior patient. Zoran is the worse spinal cord doctor to ever exist coming out of medical school. Stay as far away from this doctor as possible. He’s a low down dirty rat! He’s an insurance company liar that will do anything for a buck. He likes falsifying medical records and twisting the truth.

"Waste of time" 1 star is a compliment. *AVOID THIS DR* I was turned to this doctor cause of Workers Comp wanted a doctor who could estimate my lower back injury in value due to I Recovered alot then relapsed (Probably was easy on the Insurance company's wallet). I was told by a work comp attorney down the road that his practice was bottom tier compared to others in his specialty. I was just tired, in serious amount of pain and I didn't have the fight in me anymore. I Should have listened, but I did what I was told and stayed as a patient. 2 visits (Never seen anyone else in the waiting room) adding up to a WHOPPING 15 to 20 mins total this. Spine Specialist only looked at notes/reports from a good pain management doctor not even trying to see what has changed or anything and then sent me to his preferred one to do the same treatment my original pain doctor was in the process of doing. Now that the 24/7 pain is away and replaced with lost sensation in parts of my left leg and loss of function from my left knee down to my feet. Plus not forgetting that when doing certain tasks or movements, I cramp and lock up from my left leg and random areas in my back. Just ignoring my current issues/symptoms he tells me pretty much his work is done here no pain good to go back to work with the same restrictions that got me sent to him after my relapse. (Repeat Customer hmm?) Not suggesting anything for me to do to get myself better or even a Neurologist to help with my nerve issue that is clearly present since he couldn't tell me what was wrong. I build homes for work, I wanted some hope and to be pretty much be back to normal not with muscle cramps/spasms and half dead leg. If his sees this "F*** you Dr Maric get that Insurance check that you don't deserve and thanks for nothing. "

Dr Maric is fantastic. He is the best Spine Dr in AZ. He is a protege of General George Woodard!

Unfortunately I have nothing good to say. He did a 25 minute question and exam as a independent third party (insurance doctor) for a workers comp claim. I was injured in a vehicle accident 7 months ago and damaged a disc in my back. He totally would cut me off when I tried to explain symptoms/causes of pain etc.
His report on my condition was inaccurate and now I am left with no benefits for treatment because of his sorry excuse of a report. His reviews on other sites will give you the same kind of information that I am giving you. Please don't trust this so called doctor with your well being. It probably won't turn out well.

Not sure where the negatives come from but I had nothing but success. I had L3,4,5 fused and he added some curve to my spine for longevity and told me that wasn't always an option but my spine allowed it. I followed his program religiously for first year and am now playing golf, hiking and doing whatever I want to basically. Hips get sore if I don't stretch but thats my own fault.
Note, he is not a "lets operate" physician. He will try EVERYTHING before he considers evasive surgery. And thats a plus in my book when everyone else just wants to do the surgery to make the money. Maric is a class act, and I have several men I work with that have same results as mine. And I am a firefighter back on a truck. (He didn't really want me going back to that work and voiced his displeasure but did so professionally with a smile and shake of his head) Front office staff is considerate and deliver excellent customer service.

18 years strong! I had a microdiscectomy performed on L5S1 in 2000. Dr. Zoran Maric performed the surgery and I have been not just good but Great! I highly recommend to anyone hesitating. Don't live in pain. Let Dr. Maric fix you!

I'll give one star for his 3 minute visit say that I'm able to go back to work but three other doctors saying I need a fusion after my Fusion that my doctor did for me Paul Francis feel wonderful thanks Merrick for ruining two years of my life with lies you're a crooked person and deep down inside you know what you do wrong I would never go to this doctor

He operated on my back in 1999 and he fused my back totally flat. Went back to him in 2008 because my back had deteriorated, and he made it flatter. I did not know that this procedure was out-dated by about ten years (1989 this kind of fusion was largely discredited). Now no other back surgeon in my area will touch me until he takes out what he did in 1999 and 2008.
