Maricopa - Goodwill - Retail Store and Donation Center reviews
19If you are looking for great deals on kitchen appliances, they have them. Got tons of stuff for my son to use in his college apartment for cheap
As far as Goodwill storea go this is one of the cleaneat I've seen. The items are well organized and in fairly good condition (they don't just throw a bunch of broken junk around and call it a day).
The reason for the 4 star rating is their pricing seem to be a bit on the higher side considering the area we are in.
All in all a pleasantly surprising experience as far as shopping for used items goes.

Store CV cleaned up. Junk clutter gone. Furniture 50% off, ne fresh look.new boss?
Have been steadily bringing in men's clothes, including dress shirts, suits, ties and pants. The man who took them was rude and dropped clean clothes on the ground never offered a receipt went in and slammed door
I'm usually against leaving terrible reviews but after my experience here today I don't think I will ever be returning not for donations not for purchase. Today was half off Saturday we went in found a miniature trampoline that did not have a tag on it so we went to the back to ask somebody for a tag and received a tag for $8. We continued our shopping and finally made it to the line waited in line for 10 minutes only for the cashier to lean over whisper something in somebody's ear send him off with our tax to get a new tag at double the price. Yeah now even at $15 it would have been a good deal much less for half off but I will not do business with people who are shady. Nor will I stand for being called a liar by two managers or be treated like I'm an idiot.if you want honor the tag and employee give somebody don't give the employee the power to give out a tag.
0 rates for this store They are Selling you used old and dirty clothes that they have received free when it comes to return they said you don't have tag even though you have a receipt of course I'm gonna takeoff tag and wash that dirty old clothes before I put them on my body it's horrible no rates not even zero. I will never ever buy anything from them
Bought a new bed frame at this store. We asked the cashier if the frame didn’t fit our bed could we return it. She told us yes, within 7 days. Well, it didn’t fit so 2 days later we tried to return it. We were told new items were not returnable. They didn’t care what we had been told. Now we have a worthless item we’ll never use. Customer service at it’s finest. We are new to Arizona, but this store will never see us again. Stay away from this store.they have no clue on how to treat people. Negative stars unfortunately were not available!
One of those places I'd rate 0 stars if I could. Experience was pleasant enough while shopping around, but as soon as I had to deal with any of the employees, I could tell none of them wanted to be there.
Rude, short tempered, and an overall toxic experience.
It's the Goodwill, it is as clean as you could expect. It's a great place to take kids that they can interact with everything.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Just missed the sale the day before for 50% off. Would recommend to family and friends.
I love this store. It's always clean, the employees friendly and helpful, and I never leave without finding things I want or gave been looking for.
It's a little on the pricey side. If they do once a month or twice a month sales im sure they can clear more of that stuff out. I'm new to Maricopa and i believe there is only one good will. I heard there's a clearance one outside of Maricopa, (over the intercom) but who wants to drive across town, when they can perfectly do monthly or weekly clearance sales here? Just saying keep your locals happy. And i don't mean the crazies! Lol
I’ve been to many goodwills and Salvation army’s and this one is absurd! If I wanted to pay $10-30 for cat haired bedding I would opt for brand new at Walmart! The prices are ridiculous for used, damaged, pet haired furniture and bedding. I have took photos and ain’t to corporate office for review! Also the CEO has got in trouble for overpricing he’s a billionaire from that and goodwill does not help the community like Salvation Army does!
Overpriced second hand items. Might as well just look for things on clearance at a store.
The smell
I get way better deals at yard sales.
Horrible ridiculous prices on shoes.to think people give the merchandise for free.and for goodwill to turn around and make huge profits instead of helping out the community and making the prices reasonable and not cost more then brand knew shoes cost? Smh.everyone needs to call corporate in order for this robbery and shame to
Prices are ridiculously high for used clothing that they get free. I now believe Goodwill to be another corporation profiting from people that GIVE them the items in the first place.
But the prices reflect greed not helping the community or those that can not afford much.
Usually thus location is empty of items, however today they were stuffed full. I hardly ever find stuff there. I think the pieces are huge for used items.
Nice store. Clean for a second hand place, but always has that strong perfume smell. I think Goodwill asks too much for a lot of their stuff. I feel garage sale shopping is better and cheaper most of the time.
Wow for being new, this place is super clean, friendly & helpful staff, the overall selection is pretty solid.my only real complaint is that for most items they charge a solid dollar more for the same items like a long sleeve shirt, compared to the stores in Phoenix & Chandler.
