Market Street Pet Hospital reviews
18 Horrible experience. Called and scheduled appointment for my pup who needed to be seen asap. They only had a next day drop off appointment so I took it. Went in and was told no appointment was made and that they could possibly do a consultation that day but couldn't get him in for another 3 days for what he needed.
Heading home with my still injured pup we drove by Arizona Animal Wellness Center and walked in. After hearing the issue they were able to get him in and with friendlier staff and exceptional service.
Have been customers of Market Street Pet Hospital for over 5 years. Even adopted my sons cat the week they opened.but me and my pups will not be returning.
I just moved here and was nervous to find a new vet. I did lots of research and decided on this place. I am so glad I did. Everyone is so amazing and they were able to get me an appointment the same week. My sweet golden is having some kidney issues and hates the vet but that is not the case with this place. She walks right in and is so behaved and not anxious and shaking. I didn't know that was possible with her. They have such great communication and compassion here.
Editing this review, original below. The evolution of this place from quality to lack of communication, empathy, and service is frustrating. First, they closed down the boarding and daycare to make way for the hospital expansion. That's when the hospital began its slide into mediocrity. Over the last few years, appointment slots, communication between the business and customers and between employees has gone downhill. I've been told wrong bits of information 4-5 times. I've been in the office and have heard the same for others. The lack of accountability and empathy from the business when they mess up is what finally pushed me away to another vet. Billing screw ups have occurred twice in the last 6 months. The last straw was when they promised me an appointment for my injured dog the next day and when I got there, they told me the appointment was not in the system and that I had to have my dog go through a consultation as we hadn't been there with him in a year. None of which was communicated to me the day prior. The manager didn't even come out to speak with me and the front desk personnel were rather cold. They also failed to switch over payment of the treatment I have with them after I handed them the new card in the office and never informed me. I have since gotten treatment for my dog elsewhere today. There are BETTER OPTIONS out there.
Old review: My dog absolutely loves daycare and boarding here. She runs into the play area and her tail is always wagging and she has been throughly worn out by playing when I pick her up.
We had a sad ending to our visit, but the staff was so helpful and thoughtful through the whole process. Highly recommend MSPH. Will bring my next dog there for sure.
Best vet. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. And Dr. Parsons is a straight up G - so good.
Vet staff was very knowledge and kind. Was able to get an appointment quickly for a new puppy.
Had my externship over at this location, the staff is great, everyone is professional and has a positive attitude. They were very open with teaching me things and showing me how to get my skills done. Even had my birthday party there and one of the Vetrinarians surprised me with a cake. It was very sweet. My experience overall was very positive and I'm very happy the team played a part in my education:) I recommend this place for animal care, for a job, and for educational opportunities.
Awesome Vets! I took my puppy to Market Street to get a second opinion. They changed his medication and within a few days was doing much better. I am so grateful to have a great office to take our puppy to.
Dr Lance Jennings has been awesome helping us figure out ways to help my dogs compulsive behavior and his assistant Eileen was so patient working with my dog while he had to have some procedures done. Thank you!
The pet hospital he’s the worst as I ever seen by going to Petsmart I believe she is a technician or do you the doctors assistant she has blonde hair and you can’t miss her fake eyelashes repeat fake eyelashes I try to get medication for my dog that I live in Dallas Texas Petsmart who knows my dog says the medication is not the one that she needs I paid for it took it to my wife in the car and my wife says this is not her medication went back in the store try to get a refund telling her I’ll be home in five days so I believe she can wait but the lady again with the fake eyelashes was very rude
She needs to be working at a strip club my opinion my opinion only
The personal in heres is really good, they know how to get our pets to feel comfortable. Great people
This place is great. They always take really good care of our pup and the staff is very loving and positive!
I got my 7 month Yorkie Terrier neutered here about 2 weeks ago. Here’s some pros and cons about this place
Pros: Good service and sweet staff, very thorough procedure (they ran there own blood tests, provided medication, cone of shame, instructions list, etc.), good scheduling, most places are waited months in advanced I was able to get mine within two weeks
Cons: very expensive, if your dog is over 6 months you have to pay 60$ more, you have to pay for the office visit and if you don’t get your dog neutered within two weeks of office visit you have to pay it again. My total cost was around $500 (My dog is 5 pounds)
Overall good place but wouldn’t go here if you have a flexible schedule and can wait one or two months to go to a cheaper place.
I have used the vet services here I have used the retail store and I also use the grooming on a regular basis everybody's very friendly and pleasant and me and my friend peanut love coming here.
I am very disappointed lately. I have two dogs Lola and Boston. We’ve been patients since my Lola was 8 weeks old. I love the doctors. They are amazing. I gave 3 stars to the scheduling department. Boston got neutered and we scheduled a post surgery appointment. Then I got the email that my other dog is due for a vaccine. So I called to find out if they could squeeze her in with Boston. I live in Florence. It takes me about an hour to get there. I don’t mind the drive because we love the place. They way she sounded was rude and couldn’t squeeze her in. So I had to reschedule again. Just frustrated that she didn’t even try to ask a doctor if it was ok…
Our dog was having complications while giving birth at home. Took her here and they worked tireless to save the puppies and take care of our dog. Also a lot cheaper than others we contacted during this very difficult time
I love market street pet hospital. By two boy dogs are always so well taken care of. The doctors are very responsive and attentive to their needs.
Friendly knowledgeable staff, we really appreciate being fit in same-day and our puppy was very relaxed and happy at pick up.
