MartAnnes Burrito Palace reviews
19Festooned with eye catching original art evocative of dia de los muertos, this joint is not short on character- and their robust and authentic flavors match the bold decor. The extensive menu takes a while to digest; consider a tasty top shelf Patron margarita while you peruse your options. It was not too sweet and well balanced. For food, take a chance on their trademark chilaquiles or the green plate - a flavorful & surprisingly spicy sauced pork verde; or stick with a classic like a burrito, changa, or my reco- the carne asada, deliciously marinated and thinly sliced. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Got the breakfast burrito to go and it was awesome. There was as a lot of food and the service was quick and polite.
Great food and atmosphere. I drive passed this place a few times and asked a friend about it. I won't be passing this by again great food.
It was quite busy. We waited for around 30 mins to get a table and additional 15-20 mins for getting the order. The food was delicious though!
Got lunch with some friends and was happy with the portion size and quality for the price. I'll definitely be back, though my wife doesn't like this type of food so not often enough. My only complaint would be that the waitress didn't seem to know what food was hot/spicy. Someone at our table ordered based on her recommendation that it was not hot and ended up not eating much of her meal because it ended up being the hottest meal any of us ordered.
This place was highly recommended from the locals as I am from the Valley visiting for the weekend. The service and food was CRAZY GOOD! Some of the BEST Mexican food I've ever had. I'll be back!
Food was really fresh and hot. Giant portions! We had quesadillas and a combo dinner. Unique decor with the artwork. Service was attentive too.
A good amount of food for the price, and delicious in-house horchata. I read the reviews talking about the artwork but it is another thing to see it in person. Very colorful and lively. I'd definitely come here again
Most amazing posolé I've ever had in my life. Excellent atmosphere (gorgeous artwork), food quality and service.
Have legit eaten here for close to 40 years, since it was the Burrito Baby around the corner. As much a regular meal stop on my Flagstaff visits as Ray’s Tavern is in Green River Utah.
Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros are solid.
Much, MUCH more than "a burrito place". Everything is absolutely delicious. Our fruit bowl was perfect and fresh, the Chai tea is heavenly, and those breakfast creations, my gawsh it's so great. The artwork in there is worth the visit alone.
If you are looking for a foodgasm this is the place! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The portions are so big and filling. The staff is friendly and have good service skills. In a state full of tourist attractions, I never would have thought that a restaurant would be my motivation to return to Arizona.
Breakfast Palace is right…. The soul of Flagstaff! Came in for some brunch. I was welcomed by the friendly staff. My meal was absolutely killer. Extensive menus with plenty of veggie/vegan options. One of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve had in a long while.
Great spot for breakfast! Friendly service, great food, and unique atmosphere. The chilaquiles are excellent - get the green chile pork, you won't regret it. Fiesta potatoes have tons of fresh veggies. The walls are lined with paintings for sale from a local artist - you can buy prints as well.
The food was great, but the service was terrible. Had the green chili verde, some of the best i have ever had. Ordered guacamole with chips and salsa to start. Got the chips and salsa right away, but had to ask 3 times before the guacamole arrived right before our dinner arrived. In addition my plate was supposed to come with guacamole and sour cream, but didn’t. And finally, the margaritas were a ripoff. Almost $10 for a small glass full of ice with a splash of tequila and mix/lime juice.
I have never had good Mexican food outside of Mexico and I have visited many places in America. MatAnnes made the lie in my head disappear. MartAnnes would be your upscale for Mexican food. The presentation of the food was excellent as was the food itself.
I had the chimichanga. The beef in side was flavorful, roasted to perfection you could still see the pink in the meat. The shell itself was fried a beautifully golden and flakey. Places probably doesn’t need my review but I need MartAnnes. The decor was essential to the establishment making it complementary to its environment. What that are doing is right.
Amazing food. Waitress was best ever. Recommended a great local beer. Really cool art for sale inside.
Food was great, atmosphere was great, prices were great, wait staff was attentive. My only disappointment was I didn't have room for dessert, but that's for next time!
We stopped here to get a lunch and MartAnnes didn’t disappoint. My daughter loved her iced coffee and enchilada style burrito I got something with a unique name. Pork something smothered in sauce. Parking is difficult so get ready to possibly walk a little to get to it if it is a busy day.
