And true to their words, they are expanding, with the full complicity of the corrupt australian government, the Brandy Hill quarry - a massive operation deep in the heart of the last australian forest yet untouched by the fire and home to the last koala population. After the terrifying bushfires that cost an untold number of lives, human and not, this company is tearing down the last sanctuary for the little marsupial, including an important strip of trees that is used by them to traverse their territory during mating season and by carrying mothers during their foraging.
This act of cruelty feels like being spat in the face after the whole world put their wallet where their heart was and donated milions for the recovering efforts - all lost so greedy politicians and their conniving business partners could dig gravel from one of the most beautiful places on earth.
You say you care for the environment, HH - then stop ruining Australia and stop being a greedy hypocrite.
