The patient's belongings are so often stolen, even when adding their names permanently to them, that you can't keep up with replacements. It's sickening that they could do this to those with memory issues. They take advantage of these patients. Don't ship anything here, they will absolutely steal it.

The staffers take better care of registry then they do their own staff.
They do not pay for holidays worked.
They make you get the residents up 4: 30 in the morning and stick them outside in the cold to wait on breakfast at 0700. Don't take your loved ones there! Very poor care given.

I have had nothing but great experience with the people at Maryland gardens. My father has been in there for a few months and ALL the people that work there are so nice. Especially Joanna.

Maryland Gardens is the winner. After being bounced around multiple facilities and some not wanting to work with my mom after less than 12 hours, Maryland Gardens has risen to the challenge and made huge strides in helping my mom. They are willing to think outside the box and look at the whole person and not just one issue. They do more than make sure people are fed, bathed, and have their medications. Maryland Gardens make sure residents are safe, happy, and know that someone cares about them.

The staff communicate quickly and understand the dynamics of having a loved one who needs extra support. They have great PT, OT, mental health & medical providers. The caregivers, MA’s, CNA’s, activities department and even accounting department are willing to talk to you to make sure you understand what’s going on and are willing to answer questions.

No regrets working with this fantastic team.

The worst. If you care for your loved one don't put them here. Shower had no hot water for days so they didn't bathe my cousin. Released her as they said she met all of their requirements to go home. She absolutely can't be home alone, unable to care for herself.
