Twenty plus years ago I had breast implants put in, due in part to a medical issue but also because it was what my husband and I decided to do (I was very flat chested) …. I loved how my clothes fit better but mostly loved how it enhanced my relationship with my husband…over the time, they became part of me…helping me to feel sexy and confident. Shortly after my husband passed away, I decided I needed to take care of me so I went to see Dr. Maxwell to have them removed because one became very incapsulated. As my first appointment drew closer, I was scared to let go of them…they were such a part of my identity. I actually walked in ready to get new implants. After talking to Dr. Maxwell and her staff, it was recommended I just remove the implants and not get new ones (due to previous health issues) …so I proceeded forward with that decision. During the entire process, Dr. Maxwell and her staff were thorough, kind, gentle, and very professional. This was hard for me because I ultimately kept thinking if I loose these, I am also loosing part of my husband. This staff understood me and listened and showed amazing empathy. My surgery went so smooth and recovery as expected…I immediately fell in love with my new breasts and little did I realize, it actually opened a door for me…I feel amazing, lighter (figuratively, emotionally) …I came to realize they don’t define me, I define me and removing them gave me the freedom to be my most authentic best version of myself!
So for that, I thank Dr. Maxwell and incredible staff for helping this 63 year old realize she is more than her breasts (though her new petite ones are pretty darn cute and sexy)! With all my heart! Thank you!

As a retired nurse, I knew it was prudent to carefully select a surgeon to trust with my face, so I interviewed several plastic surgeons and cosmetic surgeons in Tucson. And I can say unequivocally, that Maxwell Aesthetics is the right way to go. Why? But before I answer that, I must tell you that I also met with a patient of Dr. Maxwell’s that recently had a facelift in my age range (70’s). She was a nurse practitioner and had done the same homework as I had, i.e, interviewed several surgeons and came to the same conclusion, that Dr. Maxwell was head and shoulders above the others. The before and after photos of her facelift were remarkable and she experienced no complications.
So why should you select Dr. Maxwell too? First, my results are also remarkable and in concert with what Dr. Maxwell and I “mutually decided are reasonable exceptions”. (To be honest the results were way beyond what I expected.) I felt comforted by her honesty as well as her and bright and eager mind to perform facelifts. She genuinely loves working on faces and improving what is possible. She seemed just as thrilled with the possibilities as I was. And more importantly, she has the manual dexterity, surgical skills and experience for performing such a feat. I don’t mean to sound silly, but her attention to detail on my face and neck, produced magical results. She is an outstanding plastic surgeon, my face and neck can attest to that. My recovery was quick and uneventful. I would do it again.
The second reason why you should trust Dr. Maxwell is that she runs a tight ship! Every staff member, from the initial consultation with Jody, to the reception desk personnel (including Vanessa and Polly), to her surgical team (including Carol) to her assistants and skin specialists (including Maritza, Sue) are all knowledgeable on what they do. They are all professionals; they take pride in what they do. They are all kind and good people. And it goes without saying that the high caliber of her staff is a reflection of Dr. Maxwell’s leadership. This should speak volumes to you in selecting a team to “electively” work on your face or any other body area. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Maxwell and her staff in my life.
