Mazatzal Hotel & Casino

The casino is a little small but the rooms are nice. The rooms are set up like a small one bedroom apt. I was definitely comfortable.

This casino is the worst in the world, they will rob you blind. You might as well walk in, hand them your life savings and walk out. The only thing good here is the food.

To much smoke! This place needs a Non Smoking area or stop the smoking period! Not healthy in the 21st century.
They brag about their Air filter systems, but that does no good when people are blowing smoke in your face every 5 seconds, cause everyone you sit near is puffing & blowing away, masked or not.

Great slots, decent food, and well lit parking if you're staying in your rig to play a couple of days.
Regular checks from local LEO as well, which made it feel very safe.

I dont care how many people know they just pay the fine for not enough payouts, but couldnt that fine go to the real ones that got robbed in the first place?

This place is a very clean place and if you want to have fun just come over to have fun and behave. And don't litter thanks Mike Z

It's OK. Very small venue. Food & alcohol service seemed to be lacking. Had to ask 3 times for a wet towel to wipe up a sticky spot at my seat (which was also on me). The breakfast bus schedule was OK. Only 1 bartender/ server in the small sports bar. Our 2nd trip to the bar I had to wait so long that one of the patrons sitting at the bar even asked why I was waiting so long. Bartender didn't even acknowledge me to let me know she saw me. Needed another bartender or at least a server. And why no cocktail service on the floor in the morning? Ridiculous.

We visited the casino for the Payson Gem and mineral show that they have every year and it was bigger than usual. I walked around the machines but not alot of people were winning the day I was there.

Winning at slots. And Jack the floor boss for slots approached me and was extremely rude. Little man should be put in his place. What an A$$.

Very fun place and considering the other hotels we visited on our vacation. At least people seem to be winning. We even won a few hundred but played it back. Maybe next time!

Too Smokey. Nobody's wearing a mask. They don't really care if you get Covid or not as long as you give them your money. It would be nice if they were non-smoking during the outbreak and required masks while playing.

Had a great stay! Only stayed one night but it was really nice and comfortable. The room has a little sitting area with a fridge and a Keurig. The Keurig even had a hot chocolate, being a non coffee drinker, I was super excited! The bed was a king for myself and my husband, clean sheets and super comfy! We will definitely stay here again! We really like this place is nice and quiet.

The casino did an amazing job on the wedding event! I would suggest this place to all wanting a great experience on their special occasion. Veronica, the event coordinated was exceptional! The food was fantastic! If your looking for event space look no further in Payson!

Well, slightly disappointed with this casino.freeplay didn't take effect until the following day, and alas, I was gone. Small and very humble, and the people were of good spirits. Just wish I got a chance to take the reels for some spins. Oh well, maybe next time.

If your going to be the most expensive hotel in payson, i believe you should make sure that the experience is not only A+ but the hotel looks great as well. Wasnt expecting to get into a room that only had ac in the bedroom, while the rest of the room was overheated. The tv in the bedroom was tiny and the screen was damaged as there were lines on on the screen. The hallways in the hotel had the wallpaper coming up in a few places and looked to be black mold growing. Tried to check in early the counter lady was extremely rude. Definitely will be staying somewhere else next time im in payson

While headed up North, we usually stop here for breakfast. Good food and service every time. Since it was pouring rain, we decided to stay and play in the casino. Lots of great slots.

Very clean great personal very friendly great food lots of machines fun environment just won 1900.00 two weeks ago so they do pay have been going there many years Thank you

The Cedar Ridge restaurant has the worst service of any place we've ever eaten. It started with the waiter telling us he was going to cut us off because we were being loud. Everyone had just been delivered their 2nd beer, nobody was drunk, but we were a little loud. But the place was empty. Telling us kindly to keep it down would've been fine, but some 19 year old kid threatening us like that was ridiculous. It took forever to get anything and our server, Jerome, literally never got anything right. He couldn't remember who ordered what, it was absurd. Then after we got our food we never saw him again. It was probably 45 minutes before we saw him and the only reason he came back is we called the restaurant and asked to have him sent back to our table. Then the bills were all screwed up, I had someone else's beer on my tab, but I paid it because I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for him to figure it out. The food was good, but everyone in there was extremely rude and our server was flat out incompetent.

Stopped in on a busy Friday to see if they had any rooms, they were sold out but the girl with the tattoos on her arms went above and beyond to give us a list of local hotels and cross off the ones she personally wouldn’t stay at she even let us chat with her and she was such a delightful woman to talk to. We stopped and had some dinner and it was amazing the food was so good and the dessert! Don’t get me started on that, I was licking the plate clean! Got to talk to some other workers, Tall security guard brown hair had glasses. What a sweet man! He was also super helpful and let me know where I could find anything. Everyone was extremely amazing and I will be making sure all my family knows how amazing this small casino is.

The food was excellent and the waitstaff was fast and efficient.
It is a great place for seniors to eat. They have an excellent seniors menu with sandwiches, soup, salad and a ribeye steak that will make any steak lover's mouth water.
If you are up around Payson and are hungry, they can fix you up for a reasonable price.
Park in the east lot for a shorter walk to the restaurant.
