McClintock Pool reviews
16 My daughter did swim team here and she got 2 8th place ribbons 1 7th and 1 6th.
Good splash pad and slides. You can come here for birthday parties anniversary ect. Good showers here and toilets. And reasonable priceing. Overall it's 5 stars for me.
A well maintained city of Tempe pool right by the McClintock High School. Very clean! Not crowded and it's great for lap swimming. Has two water slides for kids.
Nice pool! Fun for all ages and the life life guards were at every angle, sharp and responsive!
Came in for some lap swimming. Pool is warm, soooo.wore out by 1 mile-prefer a cooler ie competitive pool.looking forward to Kiwanis Pool opening up again. Pleasant staff, clean, over all a decent place to swim.
Do not come here for lap swim during the open swim hours.
They say they offer lap swimming lanes during the open swim times, but when on site they only have two lanes open and say that is not their main focus for the fun splash hours. Asked the lifeguard if they only had two lanes and he said they can add another if I asked at the lifeguard box, which I did and was denied. Staff does not seem to be on the same page.
It is understandable to have limited lap lanes during the open swim hours, but at least update your website.
I'm so happy they are back open. Very convenient location, friendly staff and clean safe pools. Everyone had a blast. ️
Pool was great just wanted to know if you guys let snacks and stuff like that in. Or like to take it in with you for when your hungry
Nice pool lap time is unfair cause you have old karens giving there lanes to friends why others been waiting to grab a lane to do laps not cool guess I have to swim in my apt.
We just found out about this pool this summer. The first three visits were awesome. I felt like the swimmers and the lifeguards and staff were all mindful of physical distancing and using precautions. However, we went last Saturday evening and there was a large family of 7-8 that were congregating at the main entry into the pool. There were several lifeguards around and not one asked them to abide by social distancing when I tried to exit the pool. I lifted my daughter out of the pool away from the large group and I used the entry but covered my mouth. We can't be careful enough right now and that's my only concern. Otherwise, this is a great public pool.
Went here on a weekend and it was relatively clean. A little bit dirty with various grimy things in the pool. However, it was gloriously warm and it had a cool set up from the sitting side area to the split deep ends. The changing rooms remind me of TV prison changing rooms, however, and no mirrors.
We are frequent visitors at this pool and this is our 3rd year. Our kids have always had a blast! It has just enough variety to keep them all entertained and satisfied with the swimming. There are basic water slides, diving boards, swimming lanes, and a little kids area. This place has my highest commendations.
Well maintained area for competitive swimming. Recreationally, it's still a public pool.
Super cheap pool! But my kids got bored here very quickly! Escalante is definitely better and even that we prefer to drive the extra distant to Chandler pools.
There was plenty of Life Gaurds on staff and everyone was super friendly. The bathrooms were clean and I would take my family again.
Would be even better if they had a snack shack for the kids other then that can't complain
The pool was very nice and refreshing everything was clean and all the lifeguards were very friendly
