McMath Realty Property Management, Phoenix AZ

Tried to contact Mcmath through zillow app. I called their office several times and called Tyler Nick several times and sent text to Tyler all in hopes of renting a property they had listed on Zillow. I never got a response from them and office person who answered the phone on 3rd attempt over 2 days was rude and un willing to help in any way. After reading reviews I'm greatful I did not rent from this company just another D - property management company. They are a dime a dozen here in AZ and they fit right in. Property owners beware these people are a joke.

Don’t rent from these people

They will find any reason to keep your deposit!
Then have a nerve to say you can’t take them to court

You have to take the owner but refuse to give any contact information on the owner

I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but few have cost me as much as staying with McMath for my property management. Their disregard for my property is possibly negligent and there unprofessional handling of the ending of my contract with them is just one more sign that this is not a company you want to deal with. I'll give just one example. I have been paying for a yearly Termite service agreement since 2016 fro $135 each year. The thing is that the agreement does no good if a termite inspection isn't scheduled. Each year the McMath asks if I want to renew the agreement (which is in their name), each year I say yes, but it turns out they weren't calling to schedule the inspection. There hasn't been an inspection since 2018. There are many such examples. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company for your property management.

I scheduled a walk through for a property for rent and submitted my drivers license and credit card and even paid a dollar to do the walk through. The walk through was supposed to be today and I just found out that the property listing has been removed and nobody notified me that my walk through was cancelled and I can't even get ahold of anyone. Not professional at all.

Great experience on checking into rental. Good communication. Easy check in. House in good shape.

Even though all requirements were met and stuff was submitted first they went with another applicant. Wouldn't waste money doing app with this company because doesn't matter if you're the first one to get in they do not care. Dealt with Tyler. Not again and would never recommend an unfair company like that.

I've been renting with McMath for a little over a year. They have been very easy to deal with and always helpful and professional. Recently I had the unpleasant experience of having our AC unit fail in the middle of the night. By 8 am I had be in contact with my property manager and the repair company and had the unit fixed later that day. Overall the whole process was smooth, easy and handled with efficiency and professionalism. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

They provide a high touch service and are immediately available to answer and guide you in any questions you may have. Edwina has been an exceptional asset to our investment journey!

I came in here expecting not great reviews from others, and was genuinely shocked to see a 4.1 star rating. What an absolute terrible experience with McMath over the 2 years we were tenants. Our original manager who did our original walk through was let go 2 days into our contract and all notes of the walk through were not transferred to our new manager, Michael. I’m not sure we could have dealt with a more unlikeable person. Flash forward to this week and we’re deducted funds from our deposit due to those house faults we accepted when going through the original walk through and were promised they were noted on their end, and wouldn’t come out of our pockets at the end of our lease. Add that on top of the 2 years of dealing with Michael.if I could give 0 stars I would. Glad to be out of that house and done with McMath.
