Melrose Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center reviews
29It's all good in finding something you really need at this location but today a Wednesday no new stock on the floor it had all the merchandise that nobody purchased the previous business day.
They had some great stuff but boy have prices gone up! Some stuff was priced like I was buying it brand new
The prices average a bit higher than other Goodwill stores. Probably because of the demographic! It's IS the Melrose District afterall and for that reason you'd think they'd have a better selection. In their defense I did go there a half hour before they closed so it could have been better earlier in the day. I DO recommend it because you never know what you'll find!
I found a Bose 5 CD Radio player there once system works perfectly. Have found other good stuff but nothing yesterday.
Not large so there is a limited selection. Prices are high for stained, torn and worn cloths but not bad every other Saturday when some stuff is 50% off. Don't expect treasures.
A bit of everything. Good inventory turnover. Worth shopping regularly. Parking tight on sale Saturdays.
Great variety of everything you can find in other goodwill locations. Dust and debris kinda give you hard time if ur allergic though
Worst service ever, lazy workers, no one at the registers, didn't give me my change, bathrooms are always locked.
Find great things there help save money on household things I need.clothing very seldom in my disappointed with what I purchased but when I have been I've gotten credit right away
Not the biggest location. But with patience, can find interesting or desirable items. I primarily shop for older tech, games, decorating, and kitchenware.
Friendly staff store is in s good location. Buses suck during rush hour but there are plenty of stores up 7th ave to fall in love with. You are sure to always find an amazing deal when you go to any of the valleys goodwill locations!
Every time I go on the Goodwill I find something a good bargain I walked out of there today with jewelry, shoes, clothing, purses and miscellaneous $80 can you believe that $80 but it was all worth it
That had to be the smallest, messiest, junkiest Goodwill to I've ever visited. I couldn't stand it 5 mins.
Best savings on cleaning supplies, some very cute Valentine items and décor, advise not to go after dark
It's a Goodwill. Kind of small, but they have decent stuff. Not sure what the thought process is for pricing, but some of the housewares are more expensive than the dollar store next door.
Really good staff But the store STINKS.
Terrible smell as soon as you open the door.
The pricing apparently is based off ebay items according to the staff.
This store once was private until sold to Goodwill a short time ago. Across the street (Indian School) are 2 great thrift stores.
I like going on 50% off days. Everyday has a tag that is half off and on Wednesday is senior 25% off.
Decent selection and fairly quickly rotating inventory. Only problem is that I'm a straight male and can't go in without other male customers hitting on me which, don't get me wrong, is very flattering but often makes the rest of my trip slightly awkward.
This place is unfair to the workers people can come in a steal and if the workers try to stop them they get in trouble or fired no one has their back
