Men's Ultimate Grooming (MUG) - Tempe

Made a appointment, they gave it up to someone that walked in because I was a couple minutes late. Plus the woman gave me a nasty attitude about being a couple minutes late. Terrible place. Usually I have good experiences at these. Save yourself a wasted trip and go to a different one.

Angela was over the top! Fabulous! Great personality and really good at what she does. I highly recommend her and MUG for all your men’s hair and beard grooming services. Worth the money spent. The whole staff was very friendly as well.

All the stylists are super friendly, professional, and great at their craft! I would recommend this place for a great quality hair cut and great price for any male style cuts!

Had an unpleasant appointment with Deidra. She lacked customer service skills, and the beard detail was terrible. No attention to detail or extra effort given that will make me a return customer. I do not recommend MUG to anyone needing a clean cut.

My grandsons Dad has taken him there for years. I went along on the last trip. Great atmosphere and awesome haircut.

I had an appointment and Stephanie was so nasty and rude I decided to leave. Her communication skills were non existent and she really got an attitude when I asked her a question about the services. It’s really disappointing as this was a birthday gift and I was treated so poorly in the first 2 min that I left.

She also felt the need to scream “BYE” to me after I was already out of the shop. So she felt the need to escalate the situation. She’s a messy employee.

Diedra did an absolutely fantastic job! The most professional service I have ever had. I will definitely be returning.

Generally good hair cuts, nice people working here. Clean new store. Be aware the parking is tight.
The booking website is quirky though. I made an appointment online for the first time the other day, the third party site made me fill out a profile, create my thousandth password, and then I could book. I reluctantly did all that and then went to check my booking and I was gone. I went to the store to double check because they weren’t answering the phones. I was told I had no appointment, so I went somewhere else that time.
I will probably be back…

Went in and got a great haircut and the worker (Stephanie) was very patient and understanding. Also surprisingly good with the beard trim that other places that I tried a while back really struggled with

Great location with great staff. The area is kept well clean and the parking does not seem to be an issue.

Just received a great haircut by Steph! I have longer hair and was worried that I might get too much chopped off by a barber. Steph was great with the pictures and ideas of what I wanted! I am very happy with the whole experience here!

I booked an appointment on line. I had a confirmation email detailing my appointment with a Stephanie at 12: 25 pm April 10 at the Tempe location. I got there on time but was turned away as they were too busy. I showed them my confirmation and my appointment was valid, but was turned away. You’d think they would have tried to accommodate me based on this, but no. Terrible customer service! Don’t go here.

I dont remember her name. But i went on Thursday night after 545pm. Shes from Illinois. She was the FIRST to cut the top of my hair, using vertical sections. I have really thick hair and I normally have to go home and fix the top. (Being licensed on hair) she did a stellar job on my hair. And will defo be going back for that quality hair cut.

If you're looking to be pampered at a fair price and no BS, this is the place. Great product (Wood Lee's) too).

Not only was it a free haircut, but it was free of my phobias I have in Arizona with horrible haircuts. I won't name the places, but they know they suck! Lol. Check this place out! You won't be disappointed.
