10I have craving menudo for quite some time. I finally was able to get to this place to try it out.there meat selection is awesome. (just looked didn't buy) I did get some bfast chorizo and some tortillas will let you know how that is.back to the Menudo I don't know how but it was kinda greasy not sure if the pigs feet made it that way.but it was still very tasty, good flavor! Will go back.
It's actually a really cool place to shop at. Yes they accept EBT, yes, they accept WIC.
You can go here to order food in the deli, eat food and buy groceries.
It's a really nice grocery store.
Store is a little small and aisles narrow which makes it a bit crowded, BUT they do have authentic Mexican food, love their meat selection and the gentlemen in this section are very friendly and courteous, this place does have alot of clientele, very good sign of their products sold, nothing to complain about truly other than it would be good to expand the aisles a little more for walk way, they do deserve the 5 stars though especially when we look for certain meats, or sweet bread which is very fresh and delicious!
Went there to get the best fresh veggies and tortillas but our onions was not so fresh after we got home
Had everything that I needed for some quality birria tacos and atole. Even had fresh conche pan. Seriously, 3 pounds of meat, 50 tortillas, peppers, spices, bread and more for $45. It's basically stealing
One of my preferred Carnicerías. They always have fresh meats, recently baked Mexican Bread and Ice Cold Drinks. Prices are very reasonable. I've been coming here since 2004. Their employees have great attitude all the time.
This is a good place to get some fresh bread.it gets kind of crowed.if u looking to get something quick and don't want to go to frys or waltmart where usually takes forever just to get off the parking lot lol.though the veggies are not always fresh unfortunately but u can pick through them and find some good ones.the meats are ok but again not always taste as fresh so i normally just go here to get sweet bread for my coffee.good quality good prices.things are tight in there hard to walk so hope ur not coustrophobic! Lol
Cross contamination in the meat department is extremely obvious I can only imagine what goes on in the areas that aren't visible to customers. Also I purchased chicken at this location and as soon as I opened the bag the smell of rotten poultry filled my entire kitchen.
Never going to shop for my food here again I bought some meat and chicken and the meat smell rotten and the chicken as well doesn’t look fresh I took everything back into the store
Pan dulce is super fresh and tasty! Ordered a cake and customer service in the bakery section was outstanding. Happy to say that I was satisfied and pleased with my visit.
I returned four days later to pick up the cake and was surprised and highly disappointed with the outcome of my cake. Firstly, the writing on the cake was smeared, smudged, and illegible. The cake toppers were placed on top of the HB writing! I'm still scratching my head how the baker/cake decorator had no sense in doing this or was simply careless. Seems silly that the the cake toppers were not accounted for prior to writing on the cake. Secondly, the cake was not fresh (made the day before). Apparently, the customer is supposed to be informed at the time ordering that the baker only works on select days.that which was not mentioned.
It's a huge bummer that this happened, but on the upside, I was glad that the cashier and the manager/owner accepted accountability for their error and did what they could to rectify the problem.
All in all, I will have to find another bakery for cakes, but may return for pan dulce if I'm ever in the neighborhood.
