Mesquite Fresh Street Mex, Tempe AZ

The tacos are probably the best I've had in a while. The online menu shows 3 tacos but you only get one for the price shown. Don't be misled when ordering, but my goodness the tacos are good!

The food was great! I had a steak burrito and it was on point. The staff was great too friendly and provided great customer service. The agua de jamaica was delicious as well.

We had met up with friends who suggested we should meet up here while in town. Oddly Tempe seems to be the street taco capital of the western hemisphere with abundant choices. We were immediately greeted upon entry. We easily found available seating at a clean table while we surveyed the menu. The place is full of tantalizing smells that increase your hunger factor. This establishment has a nice inviting atmosphere accented by a friendly and inviting staff.
Ordering was simple and straight forward. Our food was quickly cooked to order and we were soon enjoying it without delay.
We experienced quick and attentive service without issue. Additionally all of our orders were served up as ordered without issue.
The mesquite smoke really elevated the food. In addition to be hot, fresh and flavorful, the portions seemed generous.
Overall we had a great time here.
The staff seemed genuinely enthusiastic in thier work.
I'd happily return.

Super friendly staff. Great food. Their chicken is some of the best seasoned and juicy that I have found at other “taco spots”. Quick service so I have time to actual eat during my lunch break. I order at least once a week much to the dismay of my waist line.

The best tacos in Tempe hands down. If you like charcoal grilled meats and Mexican food, go here now.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mr Mesquite Taqueria and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a fun atmosphere that instantly transported me to the heart of Mexico.

The menu at Mr Mesquite Taqueria was a bit limited, but each item is outstanding with authentic flavors of Mexican cuisine. The tacos and burritos are mouthwatering. Whether you're a meat lover or vegetarian, there is something for everyone here. The quality of the ingredients used is evident in every bite, and the flavors are perfectly balanced.

One standout item is the packed bowl. The tender, smoky mesquite-grilled chicken combined with the fresh toppings and homemade pico, guac sauce, and pickled onions created a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. The tortillas looked amazing. My husband had the killer burrito which i could have stolen!

Our meal was the perfect start to a fabulous weekend in Tempe Arizona!

Decided to stop in here this week and ordered two chicken street tacos to go. The tacos were stuffed and flavorful, the service quick. It's one of those Chipotle or Subway-type places, where you customize your order as you go. The meats I've ordered so far have a grilled flavor, the sauces and fixings are delicious. Recommend!

I loved the food and the horchata was so delicious.it’s open very late too which is perfect for some late night dining.there was lots of inside and outside seating.i definitely recommend this for a good quick bite.the chicken tacos were yum

I basically go here between 7 am and 8 am, every few days, for their breakfast burrito, which is quite affordable ($5 without meat and about $8 with meat) - the breakfast burrito comes with egg, cooked on the flat Top griddle, where they also toast the flour tortilla, and then, along with your choice of meat (Chorizo, chopped grilled beef, chopped grilled chicken, or a mix), you can get potatoes, cheese and green salsa in the burrito. You can also get a to-go side of fresh made red and green salsa (delicious). I tend to get it there and get a cup for water as I'm riding my bike there and back. If you live in the area a great place to go for a quick and affordable breakfast.

Best burrito I’ve had so far. Had the mixto burrito with everything in it. Way better then chi and fil. My sister had the tacos and she loved them. Salsa was on point on flavor and seasoning. I highly recommend this one in Tempe worth the drive from west Phoenix.

Food, service & atmosphere was amazing! First time ever trying this place and was not disappointed, friendly-fast service! We recommend and we will be coming back!? Thank you Mesquite! Our tummies are satisfied.

The staff Is amazing, family owned and operated. This is a must try when in Tempe or surrounding cities.

Very tasty! Tried the cheese quesadilla and churro chips. I love that they include a sweet creamy glaze to enjoy with your chips.very nice touch:)

Some really great tasting street tacos for sure. If I'm in the area again, I'll go back and try something different. The spanish rice was really good too.

Work is down the street from this place finally had a chance to get down over there pick the best time 50% off burrito day even though I would pay full price it was a fat burrito good flavor good service in and out had the steak burrito it was awesome definitely going back to this place took it down so fast and enjoyed it didn't get a chance to take a picture

Delicious! Loved that you can pick how many tacos you want! There's good seating options, I love to sit outside or street facing.
The rice and beans were good too!
It's a fair price, especially when you consider how close it is to everything else
